Absolutely Terrible Service Wife took her Certified 2012 Kia Optima in for an oil change and inspection. Worst mistake EVER!! After charging $30.00 for 2 light bulbs she drives c Wife took her Certified 2012 Kia Optima in for an oil change and inspection. Worst mistake EVER!! After charging $30.00 for 2 light bulbs she drives car home and tire pressure gauge comes on.Not a big problem RIGHT. Then car starts losing power so we take car back to Kia and 2 hours later Mr.Lee Mathena states...it could be the turbo waste gate and it will cost $200.00 and by the way you have 2 front marker lights out and back license plate light out. I guess they forgot they had already charged $30.00 during inspection for the licence plate light. When I brought this to his attention he suddenly got embarrassed and call Mr. Eric to take over. Mr. Eric wanted to charge $145.00 for the work they did or DID NOT DO. I asked Erick are you aware this car has an additional wrap around warranty? No, I did not. Well, do you think its a great idea to find out before you present an invoice to your customers? He looked dumbfounded and immediately said my warranty does not cover this issue. " The warranty he knew nothing about" Long story short.. he changed the invoice to Zero balance, I retrieved my keys and told them I will never again patronize Safford Kia Fredericksburg, Va. Too many lies!!! Their creditbility is ZERO! Take the drive to Woodbridge and save yourself from the nonesense. More

Poor service I purchased this car brand new in 2013. However, in less than 12mo. And 12,000 miles with the vehicle I starting hearing cracking noises in my font wh I purchased this car brand new in 2013. However, in less than 12mo. And 12,000 miles with the vehicle I starting hearing cracking noises in my font wheel when making sharp turns (coming off highway ramps for instance). Along with that my tires were wearing on that same front wheel. Have taken the Have taken car back to the dealer several times and no one seemed to know what the problem was. The person in the service department was very rude and arrogant toward his coworkers. Never had my problem solved even after they were made to give me a loner. Upon retrieving my vehicle over a period of three days, it appeared my car just sat there as if had never been touched (but I could not prove it). Secondly, just this month I took my car there to be inspected, and they failed it for wipers and one light out over the rear tag, they wanted to charge $60.00 just to replace the one bulb.(one bulb still working) and another $55.00 for the wipers, what a rip-off. To top that off , after all repairs were made, they reinspected the WHOLE car and found something else to fail it for, claiming that he was not the original person that inspected it so therefore they needed to do an entire inpection. Will never recommend this service department, let alone buy another vehicle. More

Both made my wife and me feel very comfortable in dealing with them in pricing out the vehicle we chose. Subsequent to receiving the car on Monday, August 1st, we encountered a problem on August 2nd with the sound system throughout the vehicle. After discussing the issue with Lee and Bill, Bill sent Lee to our home with a possible free loaner, to see if he could determine the problem. Eventually he could not so he drove our vehicle back to the dealership. Today, August 3rd, I was contacted that the issue was a defective radio. Initially, service said it would take up to a week to get it replaced. I touched base wit the General Manager, Tony Long, and he arranged to have the radio replaced today by removing one from a comparable vehicle on the lot. The car is now on its way back to me. Very Happy! My review related both to NEW purchase and SERVICE for the radio. More

This was my second car lawn with credit I just started to build.Lee, Tony and Cam were so helpful, though I didn't get the vehicle I wanted I was put into a vehicle I could afford and not much more then my last car payment! They were the BEST of help and I cant wait to bring my friends and families by to get a vehicle. They were so professional yet we had a lot f laughs waiting on the paperwork. I highly recommend going to Safford KIA, I'll sure be back when I'm ready for my next vehicle! More

In hind site I feel they took advantage of the situation by giving me a low offer for my vehicle. Once I was home, with computer access, I found the value of my car (low mileage still some warranty) , even damaged, was two times more than what they gave me toward trade in. The "Fair Market" program doesn't seem so FAIR, but KIA says each dealer makes own deal. They also sold me insurance under false pretenses, which they did "credit my account" for. I came home with a new car and new car payment ( I had just made the last payment on the damaged car) not really the souvenir I wanted from vacation! The only thing they saved me was another stop in their town. More
