An Effortless Purchase I honestly only came in because I needed to do a test drive to narrow my car choices since VW was doing a buyback of my diesel in March 2017. I had al I honestly only came in because I needed to do a test drive to narrow my car choices since VW was doing a buyback of my diesel in March 2017. I had already decided not to get another VW because the customer service was poor both when I purchased the car and when I had to go through the VW lawsuit buyback process. After the Hyundai Sales person and manager got a sense of my overall needs, I felt comfortable telling them that if they could offer me a deal that met my requirements in terms of transportation, financial needs, and customer service, I would gladly purchase from them (even though I have friends and family in the industry already). The sales team exceeded my expectations. There was no pressure, no haggling, and no giving me the "run-around." It meant a lot to me because I was pregnant and wasn't feeling well enough to battle some stereotypical salesperson over sales tactics. This was the first dealership I have ever gone into where the sales experience was comfortable and the sales people provided a sincere sense of care about my needs beyond their own sales goals. I am new to the DMV area and remember having very different experiences in Los Angeles, CA when I attempted to go into dealerships. I often ultimately ended up having go through a broker or having a family member in the car industry arrange the deal for me because I wasn't really respected as a woman. Your sales team at Hyundai, however, offered what they were able to do and were upfront about factors I may need to consider along the way with my Sonata Hybrid. They were passionate about the sales and extra features that were important for me to consider, but explicitly respectful of my decisions. After my purchase, they were responsive in helping me tie up loose ends--such as getting aftermarket items like tinted windows in anticipation of the coming baby, and other items to aid my disability/health concerns. As long as their customer service continues to make me feel like we are all on the same team with the same end-goals, I will be a Safford Hyundai customer for life. More
