2 Fiats, 1 year, 1 salesman I will be the first to tell you that car buying is not my favorite hobby despite the fact that I have purchased more than my share over the last 30 y I will be the first to tell you that car buying is not my favorite hobby despite the fact that I have purchased more than my share over the last 30 years. In fact, car shopping is at the top of my list of things not to do, second only to things associated with the doctor and dentist. This is also the first review I have ever written about a car buying experience either good or bad. My wife and I started looking at Fiats in September 2013 at Fredericksburg Fiat when we met our salesman, Dario. The entire shopping experience was completely different than we had experienced previously. We found Dario to be similar to a “Buyers Real Estate Agent”, looking out for our best interests. I realize he works for Fiat of Fredericksburg but he genuinely made us feel that he was looking out for us. Thanks to Dario, all the pressure in buying a car that we had previously experienced was gone. We found his knowledge of Fiats very reassuring and his personality and demeanor a pleasant surprise. Although the color combination that we liked was not currently on his lot, Dario was able to find one and have it delivered the next day to Fredericksburg Fiat. We liked the car so much that after 8 months had passed and driving by the dealership one day, we noticed a new convertible Fiat that had been deeply discounted. We decided to contact Dario to see if a trade could be arranged to upgrade to a convertible. Dario again came through for us, striking a deal that all parties felt good about. So for two pleasurable car buying experiences in less than one year, we thank Dario. Dario is truly a one of a kind salesman and in our opinion, the heart of Fredericksburg Fiat. More
