This is the second time I’ve visited Safford for service on my Jeep. Both visits have been great. The work was done professionally & timely. Recently I purchased a B5 Blue Challenger from Stafford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Warrenton and unfortunately did not have a good buying experience. I traveled roughly 400 miles to this dealership after being told things about the challenger that were not true upon arrival. I was told that the vehicle had no significant scratches on the car and it had a fairly deep one that would not be able to be buffed out in the mirror and the car was not stock it did indeed have a muffler delete. I gave Dustin my salesperson the benefit of doubt and overlooked these two issues however what really spoiled the experience was being outright lied to about the car having both red and black keys, I was assured on the phone and in person that they did have both keys and at the very end of the transaction after being placed in a room where they tried to sell me on a aftermarket warranty for roughly an hour and then signing paper work I was told the key was unable to be found at the moment and it would be mailed to me. So as time went on and I contacted my salesperson Dustin multiple times he ended up ignoring my attempts and I never did receive that key. This leads me to believe that they were also aware of the deep non buffable scratch in the mirror and the car having aftermarket work done to its exhaust system and chose to lie to me prior to my 400 mile journey. The challenger is amazing however and I love it I would just strongly encourage anyone reading this to go with a different dodge dealer even if you may have to drive a little further because honesty goes a long way. On another note my trade in was driven around the building at about 10 mph never had a OBD2 scanner plugged in or even put on lift it appears the service department is non existent which would be extremely troubling if you are buying a used car here. I brought my vehicle in for service due for 94,000 mi check. They kept it from 7 AM to 4 PM and only accomplished an oil change when I left instructions to do any and everything needed for the service. I check. I was told over the phone it needed flushing of brake system and some other fluid replacement. I TOLD them explicitly to do that stuff and they IGNORED me. I can't tell you how enraged I am. To make it worse they kept the vehicle long enough to do that stuff. I made an appointment for that reason. Why did they not get to it when it was their scheduler who set it up? If they were too busy they shouldn't have scheduled me for that time. Now I have to go to a different dealership to get it done. More
Not sure why I wanted my time setting up an appointment when it took them 4 days to look at my truck and they have really increased the oil change prices for the diesels. First time at this dealership. Went in for a screen issue and got it resolved quickly and easily, where another dealer was unable to resolve for us (car still under warranty).
