Maintenance takes too long for basic service Went in for an oil change with an appointment. After 1 hour I was informed that they had inspected my vehicle and found a laundry list of things that should be addressed, including a $13 cabin air filter that they would charge $85 to replace, but hadn't started the oil change yet. After another hour the oil change was complete. So they wasted an entire hour of my day trying to milk me for more money instead of doing what I paid them for. I was not alone, during this entire time I sat with another person that was getting a state inspection done, which only takes 15-30 min anywhere else. That person was still waiting after 2 hours to get a brake light replaced. This dealership is obviously desperate for money, and should not be trusted to give you an honest opinion. More

The service guys were friendly, informative, and efficient. I was a little anxious because of the strange noise coming from under the hood, but all is well and it didn’t cost me a dime!!! I will never go back to this dealership! We bought our Wrangler brand new 3 years ago... after four appointments due to an ongoing issue with the AC compressor, it is still not resolved. This past time it Wrangler brand new 3 years ago... after four appointments due to an ongoing issue with the AC compressor, it is still not resolved. This past time it was dropped off to be “looked at”, it was there for seven days, not one time did someone call to update me on what was going on. I called multiple times to get information and they stated they would call me back that day and never did, so I’d then again have to call. Finally after a week I called and stated I was coming to get my vehicle. They stated nothing was wrong with the compressor; it wasn’t making any noises, no leaks and was blowing cold air... after an entire week of being in the shop might I add. When my husband and I came to pick it up they couldn’t find the keys, finally once they were found we went to the vehicle to leave and the glove box was sitting on the floor with everything out of it. I drove off with my child in the car and thankfully realized before getting on the main road that the hood was NOT latched on. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I’ve attempted to talk to management about this with no return call, I’ve even left a voicemail for the general manager of Safford with no return call. I will never buy a vehicle, get my vehicle serviced or recommend this dealership any longer. I’m dropping my vehicle off to be looked at with Safford of Winchester tomorrow in hopes my experience will be better. More

The day of Purchase the staff was Top Notch outside of the person who sold me the car. he was VERY inexperienced and really couldnt answer many question which caused the Manager to get involved. Our finan the person who sold me the car. he was VERY inexperienced and really couldnt answer many question which caused the Manager to get involved. Our finance person the day of was amazing as always. Once we got the car the Manager came out and was answering any questions I had and apologizing for the sellers inexperience. TOP NOTCH the day of. Within 24 hours error codes started popping up on the dash. I received a call from my wife stating that she was back at the dealer and the car was being serviced. Please note while 3 kids including a 1 & 3 year old were in the car. I come in and go right up to the manager basically telling him that whats going on is unacceptable and if there is a serious problem we will have the discussion of them giving me my trade in back and them taking this car back. He stays totally calm and tells me lets see what the problem is first, hes sorry for this inconvenience but then adds " yuh know its a car and this happens". This sent me over the edge as this IS NOT WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN. He stays calm and basically repeats what he says earlier. I approach my wife who is talking with Omar and he is still pleasant as always says can we get you into another car for the time being to which I reply" no, why so that one could have issues in 24 hours too" he says I totally understand and goes back to what he was doing. The next person that comes up to us is Carlos. Basically apologizes for the inconvenience etc... but then states " Yuh know it is a car and these kind of things happen". To which I reply which , actually no it doesnt, your brand new car shouldnt have issues less than 24 hours causing you to have it in the shop already. He states again I understand but it is a car and it happens. SO i look at him and tell him. Hey I know how getting a new car works and under no circumstance is it ok for a brand new car to have issues IMMEDIATELY. So what does Carlos do, he repeats it again. At this point I realize what he is doing. This person no longer was a Salesman, he was acting like a thug by trying to now get a rise out of me. I know this because WHAT CAR DEALERSHIP ON THE PLANET would say in front of people on the sales floor that are trying to buy new cars that "Hey sometimes our cars just break within 24 hours". So by this time I just went into the room with my kids and he walked away. The kicker to the story is my wife spoke with Carlos earlier in the week when she came in and we came back on Friday to BUY THE CAR FROM CARLOS. We asked for him when we came in but he was out. Long story short, I applaud the manager for how he was those 2 days. Cool Calm and Collected. I dont understand this mentality of "Hey sometimes we sell a problem" but if thats the dealerships mentality now, I cant change that. The next issue is something happened where we couldnt use our tags we had on the previous vehicle because of some issue with the DMV, which got resolved with a simple phone call from us. We got temporary tags but we tried 4 maybe 5 times to get someone to call us back so we could finish the paperwork needed this week. Long story short this is our 4th Safford vehicle in maybe 8 years and we have NEVER had an issue like these previously. We have never felt like we were being scammed or overcharged and we actually enjoyed the process up until this time. These reasons are why we wouldnt go to our local dealership, we would drive 45 minutes out of the way to go to Safford. I can without a doubt say we will no longer purchase a vehicle from Safford of Warrenton. This was a hands down classic example of you are the greatest person in the world when we want you to buy and after that you are absolutely nothing and not worth our time. We received no follow up phone call apologizing or even seeing how the car was. More
