I have been going to this dealership with my 2003 T&C for four years and have had a great experience with the service department. When I did look at new vehicles, the salesmen were low-pressure, just as for four years and have had a great experience with the service department. I had talked to Chris Sheehan a couple of times while waiting on my vehicle, so when I decided to buy a new one I went straight to him. I bought a Jeep Liberty used but with a transferable 100,000 mile factory warranty. Shortly after purchase it started making a noise during turning in the front end. I brought it into the nearest dealership to my work which was also where I believe the vehicle was originally purchased. I found EVERYONE I encountered to be helpful and courteous and I was very impressed with my service writer (I think I got the title right) Ken. He had a good understanding of the problem and after the 1st visit didn't uncover the source of the noise, he went on a ride along and identified the noise with me so he could relate it to the mechanic(s). In fact a mechanic was supposed to be there to ride along with me, but it was Monday morning and for whatever reason, all were late to come to work ... which is my only negative regarding the entire experience. It took a total of 4 visits and multiple replaced suspension components, but eventually a new steering rack was found to be the culprit. Some might say that they should've found it the first time, but as an engineer and garage mechanic, I definitely understand the difficulty in pinpointing the problem. I got a lot of free parts (that were worn and may have been contributing factors) for a vehicle that was designed and made under the previous Chrysler "regime." I was very pleased that Chrysler and the Safford dealership continue to stand by these older vehicles and honor the warranty. I wholeheartedly recommend Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Springfield. My recent experience at Safford of Springfield was very pleasant. Mr. Younes Bekkali struck the perfect balance of answering my questions and deducing the vehicle model of that would meet my needs, while pleasant. Furthermore, all of my questions were answered accurately and in a timely fashion. When I left the dealership, I felt at ease to return to the dealership at any time. Although I eventually decided to postpone a purchase for a lengthy period of time, I would easily recommend Mr. Bekkali @Safford to a potential purchaser. More
I usually buy my used cars from CARMAX because I can't stand the process with an actual dealer, but Sonny was awesome.
