After doing some research, I was either going to buy a Nissan Juke or a Kia Sportage. Set out to test drive them both, and went to Brown's Sterling Nissan first. Never made it to the Kia dealer. The sa Nissan Juke or a Kia Sportage. Set out to test drive them both, and went to Brown's Sterling Nissan first. Never made it to the Kia dealer. The salesman, Peter, was low-pressure and knowledgeable, and the sales manager, Patrick Hall, was great to deal with. I test drove the Juke and loved it, but Brown's didn't have it in graphite blue. Patrick found a graphite blue one, with the exact options I wanted at a competitor's dealership and got to work. He had my graphite blue, AWD SV en route in minutes via a dealer trade. We cut the deal, and a half hour or so later, my Juke pulled up. They even took us through the garage to where the techs were prepping it for me so I could meet it a few minutes early. We're very happy with our buying experience at Brown's, and will gladly recommend Patrick and company to anyone with their eye on a Nissan. And the Juke...well, it's quite simply the most fun you can have on four wheels. There is nothing like it on the road. I wish my commute were longer. Thanks, Brown's! More
Best new car buying experience I've ever had. Patrick and Eric took awesome care of me. I can't recommend them highly enough. Not the typical "car salesmen", they are concentrated on their customers and it shows. With my trade-in, they matched a previous offer from another car dealer, which further made the transaction smoother. Again, I can't recommend these guys enough!!! More
We were looking for a new 2010 Armada Platinum in white. At the time it was very hard to find a white one. Patrick Hall went out of his way calling around to other dealerships to find us a white 2010 Armad At the time it was very hard to find a white one. Patrick Hall went out of his way calling around to other dealerships to find us a white 2010 Armada. Patrick called us and said he found a white one. WOW how hard he worked to make this a pleasant experience. I will not go to any other dealership again. Browns Nissan Sterling is a GREAT dealership to work with as they work to make you happy not to just get a sale. I trust them that they will give me a good deal and good service. We plan on buying from them again in the future. It feels good to have a dearlership you can trust :) THANKS BROWNS NISSAN STERLING!! I love my car!! More

I purchased an Xterra from Patrick Hall at another dealership 10 years ago. It was a great buying experience then, and I told him when the day came for me to buy another vehicle, I'd come to him. So, dealership 10 years ago. It was a great buying experience then, and I told him when the day came for me to buy another vehicle, I'd come to him. So, here it is 10 years later and I was ready for a new vehicle, so I called Patrick. I already had in mind that a Rogue would be a good fit for my needs. I called Patrick at in the morning, told him I'd be there at 4. They had a platinum graphite Rogue in stock in the package I wanted, and he said he'd have it pulled around for me. A couple of hours later, Patrick called me to say that a blue Rogue with the same package arrived just that day. He remembered, 10 years later, that I really do like blue vehicles, even though I hadn't mentioned it earlier that day. When I arrived at the dealership, Patrick saw me drive up and met me outside. We looked at the Rogue and went for a test drive. It was great, I knew the Rogue was for me. Patrick worked up the numbers, including with their internet pricing, versus the pricing I would get as a employee with HP. (Nissan and HP have a buying program.) He showed me the different numbers, and also the trade in price for my Xterra. All fell exactly in line where I expected them, as I had done my research. We made the deal, and they had the Rogue detailed for me. In the meantime, I met with Peter Nartey who went over the working details of the car inself, and he gave me a tour of the dealership. I worked with Mike Francella on the finance part. In a couple of hours, I was on my way home in a 2011 Rogue, a very happy buyer. Very simply, and quite honestly, I bought the car at Sterling Nissan because of Patrick Hall. There is a Nissan dealership closer to my house but I chose to go to Sterling because of him. He treats me with respect and genuine care and concern that my needs are met. Patrick treats me 'like family', and I swear that everyone in the dealership knew that I was coming and who I was. He is exceptional at what he does, and Nissan and Nissan Sterling is lucky to have him. I am thrilled because I know that Patrick is a great guy and not just any salesperson who wants to sell me a car. I strongly, wholeheartedly recommend Patrick and the team at Nissan Sterling to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle. I know that the next vehicle I buy will also be from Patrick Hall. More
This was the second Nissan dealership I visited in my search for a 2011 Xterra. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. The quality of the service I received was excellent! They went above and b search for a 2011 Xterra. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. The quality of the service I received was excellent! They went above and beyond to meet my needs. They did not have the color Xterra I was looking for and within 24 hours they managed to get it there. They worked with me on a price that I was comfortable paying and at no time did I feel pressured or that they were pushy and only worried about a sale. John Omidpanah and Patrick Hall made the experience very positive in relation to the sale of the vehicle. To top the experience off, Michael Francella was very helpful when going through the Financing information. He explained everything to me in a way that helped me understand what it was instead of me sitting there being confused and overwhelmed by the paperwork. Once again I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a car! More
I recommend this dealership 100 times over. During my entire deal I worked with Patrick Hall, who is the general sales manager. It is rare to find a general sales manager having the patience to deal with entire deal I worked with Patrick Hall, who is the general sales manager. It is rare to find a general sales manager having the patience to deal with the customer throughout the entire process. I was VERY indecisive about purchasing a new car, because I had a lot of negative equity to roll over and I didn't want to put any money down, and I didn't want my payments to increase(which was unreasonable to think to begin with). Patrick found the best deal to fit my needs AND went outside of the dealership to get the car (color, trim level, etc) I actually wanted. I live about 50 minutes away from this dealership, but I would/will go back there every time I purchase a nissan. They were so friendly, patient, not too pushy. I really felt like their true concern was to make me happy. More
After years of taking my Xterra to Browns for servicing we decided to trade in my wifes car for another Nissan. I had no question about which dealership to go to given the level of service that the service we decided to trade in my wifes car for another Nissan. I had no question about which dealership to go to given the level of service that the service department give. After some initial communication issues / problems with ordering our new Nissan Juke, Patrick quickly showed what a great dealership this is and made everything perfect, delivering our Juke in double quick time and making sure that both myself and my wife were more than happy with with the car and with Browns. I am delighted to say that Browns really are the best dealership for both sales and servicing in the area. More
AWFUL SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Whatever you do, drive a few AWFUL SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Whatever you do, drive a few extra miles to avoid having your car serviced at Brown’s Nissan in Fairfax, VA. I brought in AWFUL SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Whatever you do, drive a few extra miles to avoid having your car serviced at Brown’s Nissan in Fairfax, VA. I brought in my classic Nissan 300ZX for service back in June of 2010 to have the odometer and tripometer replaced and here are the events that followed: • When they replaced the broken odometer, no one bothered to tell me that the new one would not be brought back to its original mileage (43k in my case). I now have a 1990 Z with ZERO miles. I only have a receipt to show people what the mileage should actually be, but it looks otherwise suspicious (odometer rollback), which might make the car difficult to sell in the future. • The fuel gauge no longer works! • The steering column was not put back together correctly • There was a gasket hanging out of the instrument cluster • The other instrument cluster was not properly aligned • There was a one inch scratch on the radio bezel • The car was left unlocked in their parking lot overnight • Had to take the car back 3 times to correct these issues and the fuel gauge still does not work at all • Had at least a dozen phone conversations with people promising to call me back with a resolution and they rarely ever called back. I had to stay on them constantly until I just had to give up. The service department promised to get me a new fuel gauge and replacement radio bezel. However, at the time of this writing, almost 5 months have passed and Brown’s Nissan has still not bothered to follow up on their mistakes. In addition to the fuel gauge, it now appears as though my oil pressure and temperature gauges are now on the fritz, only working intermittently. I don’t know if this is a result of whatever they did to my instrument cluster back in June but when I reported it to Brown’s, they never bothered to call back (big surprise). The low level of customer service at Brown’s, quite honestly, is unbelievable. I’ll have to bite the bullet on this one and take my Z to someplace else where their staff actually cares about the quality of their work. Needless to say, my two Z’s will never return to Brown’s, and my many friends in the Z community now know to avoid this hassle as well. More
My car was purchased brand new from this dealership at the beginning of this year. The sales was fine, except for the ridiculous $389 processing fee. The problem with this dealer is their subpar service the beginning of this year. The sales was fine, except for the ridiculous $389 processing fee. The problem with this dealer is their subpar service department. I've had my car in shortly after purchasing it to have a deck rattle issue looked it. After replacing parts and reassembling the interior, they did a terrible job. The rear seats were loose, the covers for the rear air bags was placed on incorrectly, and there were a lot of oily finger print marks all over. I spent nearly 2 hours correcting all these problems on my own. Quality is very poor with the technicians working on the cars. When I made the appointment for the recall notice, I requested that they look at a few other issues I was having with the car. When going in for this appointment, they didn't even bother to check those problems. Infact the work order completely omitted what I had requested. The only work performed was the recall. I had to made another appointment for 3 other issues. At this most recent visit, they were only able to fix one of them. I even went on a drive with the technician and after pointing out the problem, he confirmed it. We went back to the dealership and he said he could fix it. He didn't fix it. All that he did was apply tape to a panels interior. The problem is still there. I don't trust these technicians at this dealership and will be having my car serviced somewhere else to have the issues resolved. These guys are pretty clueless at fixing cars. Absolutely pathetic. If you live in VA and need to buy a Nissan car, Browns is ok for new sales. However, don't even waste your time and money to have your car serviced here. More
