We worked with Alyssa Nelms, who, while she admitted she was new to the car business, carried herself in such a way that made the process feel seamless. It was pretty straightforward for us, since we traveled to Fairfax particularly for the car we purchased. My husband had conducted extensive research beforehand, so we knew what we wanted at the onset. Alyssa took us on a lengthy test drive, and then we put together the paperwork. We would work with Brown's Fairfax Nissan again. More
The absolute worst dealership experience possible. Advertised 5000 off MSRP, plus 125% of kbb on trade in. When it came time to put it in writing, total was 8000 more then original quote, and offered me 40% of kbb trade in value and 50% of offer I already have from other dealership. Tried to tell me my car is only 2wd, when it has Awd stamped on the back.... Thieves and con-artists. Stay away, and don't believe the hype they send you.....wish I had realized what a bunch of low lifes I was dealing with before I had waisted 4 hours of my life dealing with these creeps. More
I purchased a new Maxima at this location back in April or so, which turns out to be my first, and only, good experience. Upon purchase, it was agreed that a remote start would be installed. I was assured or so, which turns out to be my first, and only, good experience. Upon purchase, it was agreed that a remote start would be installed. I was assured when I dropped the vehicle off that this would be done by the next day along with a full detail. Not only did this take 3 days, the day I was told to come retrieve the car, one of the employees hit it as they were leaving from work. It is my understanding that employees are not permitted to park where this employee had. Mgmt reviewed the camera with me, saw what had happened and who it was, yet did nothing. There was no accountability or action taken on this employee, nor was there any follow up with me regarding the situation. My car was simply taken, and 'fixed up'. Which brings me to my next point. I took my car to another auto repair location to inspect the "repairs" who showed me that the job the team performed was not only of poor quality, but can be easily spotted by anyone knowing what they are looking for. Small visible scratches on the bumper and on the tail light, uneven paint, etc. I brought this up, and was simply told, if you run into any problems, call us. Well, here's a problem. As compensation for the damages, it was approved by one of the managers, Joe, that I would receive two years worth of complimentary detailing and oil changes.... Sounds all good and dandy until he obviously forgot our agreement and tells me later that detailing is free with any vehicle purchased at this location...... Smart guy. Later on, the remote starter failed. Instead of turning the car on, it would set off the alarm. Had to drop it off again, this time they assured me the problem was fixed. Almost immediately, it failed again. This time starting, then turning off whenever I got in the car. Then turning on again when I'd open the door. So I'm at the dealers, AGAIN. For the same thing. The final diagnosis, the remote start isn't 100% functional with Maximas and that I would need a separate remote to use it. If you are going to promote an aftermarket add on, wouldn't it be smart to make sure it is functional on all vehicles? During the midst of all this, I was promised a full detail and tank of gas every time I had to come back. All three times there was no wax applied, after I had specifically asked for it, and was guaranteed it would happen. Another time, gas was forgotten. The next time I came back, was for an oil change and detail. Again, no wax. And as usual, was promised a time frame of 30 minutes, and was in there for 2 hours with no follow up as to what is going on. Now, James and Bryce have been wonderful and have done the best they could for me through out my so far, very unpleasant experience, and it is because of them I brought my finance's parents to this location. They live out in Annandale with plenty of Nissan dealers to choose from, yet we convinced them to come to this branch where they purchased a new Rouge. Of course, it doesn't end there. As my fiance went to sit down, with our infant son on his shoulder, the chair completely collapsed on him sending him falling straight to the ground. He is a 200lb man, and landed on his back as he used himself to block the impact from the baby. He was assured the chairs would be replaced, but that was also, an empty promise as the same chairs, remain on the floor. Even that faded greenish looking one next to the window that's been there since the first visit. So here is where we are at now. Today, the last straw. I called the manager Mustafa, and asked him if he had time to get a detail done for me. Detail, not car wash. He assured me he could, and to come on through. I get there, and ask him to ensure there is coat of wax thrown on as this was missed the last three times. He again, assures me this would be done. Quotes me 30 minutes. After an hour, twice the time I was told, I get my car back. Not only was there clearly not a drop of wax put on, the car as STILL dirty. The amount of dust and dirt left on it was ridiculous. I had Mustafa check it out as he agrees the car was not clean by any standards. His explanation? The detailing team is not there on Sundays and he had instructed the guy that returned my keys to tell me this. First of all, I called Mustafa directly. I set this up, through Mustafa. I was very specific in what I wanted and instead of telling me before I wasted my time, he decides to tell me the detail team isn't there AFTER THE FACT. Instead of taking responsibility for his lack of communication, he blames the guy that returned my keys. Second, even if all I wanted was a car wash, the car was filthy. I've received better cleaning jobs and service, at gas stations. As usual, he brushed me off, denying any responsibility for what is now becoming a pattern of wasting my time, blamed someone else, spoke to me as if I was being ridiculous, and failed to offer anything that would remedy the situation. Instead, he instructed me to set up an appt. if I want a detail when that is exactly what I called him for. Who wants a car wash and detail done separately? I have a full time job and a baby boy with another on the way, and have wasted countless hours due to the mgmt's inability to get things done correctly the first time, and in the time they promise me. Up until now, I have let this all go, and haven't made a big deal. I have been beyond patient, excusing mgmt's lack of communication, personal accountability, and the apparent horrible time the team seems to have carrying out even the smallest of tasks, because just two people on this team that have treated me with respect. At this point, I would rather pay a true professional to get what I want done than to have to come into this branch and deal with the most impossible amount of unprofessionalism I have ever seen and any future inconveniences I am bound to run into. My experience with this dealership has been nothing less than tremendous because of the Sales Manager Joe Gorospe. I purchased my 2013 Altima 3.5 SL one year ago and every time I come in for service he stil than tremendous because of the Sales Manager Joe Gorospe. I purchased my 2013 Altima 3.5 SL one year ago and every time I come in for service he still treats me as good if not better than the 1st day I drove off the lot. Even the few times I've had my wife drop the vehicle off for service, he personally sees to it that everything is taken care of... Even placing my daughter's car seat into a Loaner!! Acts like this are clearly going above and beyond the job. Please give this man a raise. More

He worked hard to get me the best deal and made sure something could be done for me despite my unfavorable s fair-dealing with me about my situation. He worked hard to get me the best deal and made sure something could be done for me despite my unfavorable situation. The sales team as well as the financing department went out of their way to make sure that I was able to leave with a great quality vehicle while improving my credit situation. I am thankful for their effort and dedication to being helpful, honest, and thorough. Quite a change from my last experience purchasing a vehicle, they completely changed my negative opinion on car buying and car salesman. I would do future business as well as recommend Brown's Nissan of Fairfax to family and friends. More

Today my wife and I went to Brown's Fairfax Nissan to look to buy a new 2103 Murano. I have to say this was one of the best experiences either of us have had in years. Sharon was excellent to deal with, look to buy a new 2103 Murano. I have to say this was one of the best experiences either of us have had in years. Sharon was excellent to deal with, friendly, knowledgeable, listen and worked to find a way to make a deal that worked for us. What was equally amazing was the time spent in Finance with Bryce. We was organize, prepared and ready to present to us options. Gave us time to consider how we might want to proceed, again no pressure, just options. Really appreciated that. Our total time in the dealership was under three (3) hours and part of that was one us. Fantastic experience, car is there being prepped for pick up tomorrow. Again couldn't be happier. Sharon you have a loyal customer. More
