The service department did an overall good job. My only issue is scheduling my appointment, your on line appointment scheduling system could not find us. I had to call to make an appointment. The salesman and I knew from the original test ride that the car had one tire with low pressure. When I decided to buy it, the service department was told to fill the tire with air and inspect it for punctu the car had one tire with low pressure. When I picked the car up the next day, they told me it had been inspected and everything was fine. The next day I found the obvious screw in the tire tread. The next day they finally told me to come right away to get it fixed, and when I showed up right away, they told me to wait because they were too busy. The tech was searching on the wrong tire - I had to go into the garage to point out the tire and the obvious screw. I had to press them to replace the tire (not patch it). It took 2 1/2 hours to fix, and the staff was very rude along the way. The service department at Safford Brown Kia Manassas is definitely problematic and I would not recommend going there. Find another Kia dealer for service! More
Great friendly people and they do good work, but it took all day. This was my first service for my Carnival. The service was fine except that I dropped the car off at 8:20am for an 8:30 appointment and wa all day. This was my first service for my Carnival. The service was fine except that I dropped the car off at 8:20am for an 8:30 appointment and was asked when I wanted it back. I said 1pm and got it back at 4:30pm. It kinda dampened my plans for the day. The service was for a couple of recalls on the doors, oil change, tire rotation and safety inspection. I felt like that should not have taken all day. I don't know if it would have been different if I waited for it. I called at 1pm and was told it was almost done, and called again at 3:30pm, and told it was almost done. Then, I finally got a call at 4:15pm to say it was finished. Another note that if you make an appointment, you will be reminded more than enough times via text, phone call, and email. It was kinda too much, especially after I confirmed via phone call. I still got text messages and emails reminding me that I had an appointment. Overkill, in my opinion. More
