My wife and I went in to just look not buy. Pedro greeted us on the lot and led us to a vehicle with the features we wanted. After looking at several vehicles, he invited us to test drive the vehicle of inte us on the lot and led us to a vehicle with the features we wanted. After looking at several vehicles, he invited us to test drive the vehicle of interest while someone evaluated our vehicle for trade. When we returned from the test drive, we discussed price. After very short negotiation, they made us an offer we just couldn't refuse. These folks were friendly, no high pressure and looking to make attractive deals. I would come back to do business with them again. More
I am writing this review because I am incredibly impressed with the service and product I received at Brown's Manassas Kia. I typically find car shopping to be a hassle, and have never bought from impressed with the service and product I received at Brown's Manassas Kia. I typically find car shopping to be a hassle, and have never bought from a dealership, but rather looked for private sellers in order to get the best price. This time, I intended only to test drive a couple of cars I was interested in and make my decisions at a later time. I made an appointment with Wali Alimi, and when I showed up he had the car ready (and to my appreciation, warmed up against the 32 degree weather). I drove two cars and thought the Toyota Matrix I tried was a great car for a more than reasonable price. Even though I knew they were already asking a very low price, I couldn't afford it and asked to have it lowered. Wali was great, and at the end of the day, including tax, dealer fees, and registration fees, I ended up paying less than their asking price, which they had already lowered. (This was about 2500 less than the car's KBB). Still being the careful buyer that I am, I made good use of their 3 day guarantee policy and took it to a mechanic to be inspected the next day. I was told that it couldn't be in better condition. Everything that typically needs replacing regularly had been replaced (oil, filters, wipers, brake pads and rotors, tires, etc.). Thank you Wali and Brown's Kia staff for making this as painless as possible. I highly recommend going and giving them a chance if you're in the market. More
Matt Knupp, was very knowledgable about the vehicle and very desciptive. He was pleast and well spoken, his patience and responsiveness was very impressive. I dread having to purchase a new vehicle becua very desciptive. He was pleast and well spoken, his patience and responsiveness was very impressive. I dread having to purchase a new vehicle becuase of the car salesmen, they can be so rude and pushy, but Matt was the oposite and sold me the vehicle with his honesty and knowledge of the car. Wish there were more people like Matt who were in the car business. Thanks Liz Weikert More
was very pleased with my visit and purchase from Kia. this dealership has changed management recently and it shows. the staff were helpful and friendly all around. my salesman, Matt, was professional this dealership has changed management recently and it shows. the staff were helpful and friendly all around. my salesman, Matt, was professional and knowledgeable without being pushy, and the finance person we sat down with to finalize the deal was also.... helpful would be the best word. He helped us to fit into the vehicle we wanted and Kia was even able to beat my personal bank with financing. Great experience overall More
My husband and I decided on a bit of whim to go browsing for a new car that we would buy in the near future. We had agreed that we were not going to buy a car on our first trip out. We had done that once be for a new car that we would buy in the near future. We had agreed that we were not going to buy a car on our first trip out. We had done that once before, and while we were happy with our purchase, we decided that this time we would test drive a few different models and that we would check out a few different dealerships before making our choice. We pretty much failed miserably at sticking to the plan and we could not be happier! We came to Brown's Manassas KIA and were greeted nicely by the used car sale man that quickly connected us with Matt Knupp, who handled the new cars. First impression? They listened to what the we wanted and got help quickly. Nice! We were taken to a beautiful red 2013 Kia Optima. Red being my husband's favorite color, I knew he'd want to know more about that particular one. After seeing it had all the features he wanted, the price would be the deciding factor. We thought, "this car is brand new, it has Push-to-Start, navigation system, leather seats, heated seats, heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and on and on and on...there is no way we can afford this". But then we saw the price tag and I immediately pulled out my phone and texted my dad. I am not well versed when it comes to cars, and while my husband knows more than I do, I needed to get my dad's input. His response? It's a great deal! Having my dad's input is very important to me, so that reassured me that if we needed to take the risk, it would be worth it. The risk factor came in to discussion with Matt as we let him know that our plan was only to browse because I had bough a brand new car the year before and we needed to sell the car that my husband mainly drives. My father-in-law had to plans to buy it, but was waiting for a job location transfer before making a the commitment. We wanted the Optima so badly, but could we carry 3 car payments? In our discussion, not once did Matt continue to sell us on the car. He understood that we needed the money from the sale of my husband's car to buy the new car. I appreciated that he had back off a bit to give us the time to see if this is something we could handle. We decided that we would wait to sell our car, so that we could get the down payment as we had planned before we left the house that day. We went to dinner, thinking about the car, talked about it through out dinner, went to see my parents and my husband left their house convinced that my dad told him he should just get it. So after talking about it on our way home and up the stairs, he called Matt and let him know that we were buying the car. Matt had let us know that he was going to be off the next day, so that is why we called him, we wanted to make sure that he would be the one to help us get our car. He had been so helpful from the beginning, he knew what we wanted, he understood our approach, and we wanted to make sure the rest of the experience would be just as smooth. Plans can always be changed, and it most certainly helps when you are working with people that don't push you and let you figure out what you want to do. More
I took my car in for oil change, tire rotation, and inspection with a coupon. I was encouraged to use the oil change (would have saved $20.00 but I saw the free tire rotation was where I would save the inspection with a coupon. Make sure you are getting the best savings with your coupons. This was lady at desk not mechanics or other service people) I had appointment and was taken right away, work was done quickly and a very nice young gentleman came out and let me know everything was finished and was there anything else they could do for me. Since I did not purchase my car at Brown's I asked if they could write the maintenance down in my manual with the dates and he was extremely nice about that. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. The cashier was very very nice. Altogether it was a very good experience.Just check the best deals when you have coupons. More
Friendly, knowledgeable, listened, fair deal. Matt understood what we were looking for and showed us options without pushing things we did not want, The car we wanted was on the lot and Matt took car understood what we were looking for and showed us options without pushing things we did not want, The car we wanted was on the lot and Matt took care of appraisal on our trade, prep for the new car, and delivery in a professional and expeditious manner. The finance lady almost cost the deal, however. we were paying cash for the car and knew that we did not want extended warranties of any kind. She strung out the finance part for over an hour - with no financing involved - trying to sell what we DID not want and had made it perfectly clear from the onset that we DID NOT want. I finally told her that if she didn't let it go, I was going out to see Matt, knowing that he would fix the situation. Other than the finance lady, this was the best car buying experience we have ever enjoyed, More

To begin, I typically despise/dread car shopping. Fortunately, I found Brown's Kia and that dread is now gone. I found a used vehicle online and went to check it out at Brown's on a Friday night. Fortunately, I found Brown's Kia and that dread is now gone. I found a used vehicle online and went to check it out at Brown's on a Friday night. Pleasantly, I wasn't "attacked" by the salesperson when I got on the lot. In fact, he let me approach him after I checked out the exterior of the vehicle I was there to inspect - that was a big plus for me. Further, after my test drive I told my sales person (Tom Donovan) that I'd be back then next day to see the vehicle in the day light. He didn't try to "hold" me there, but merely got my contact information and we set up a time for me to return for a second look. Well, I did return and it was a no-brainer on making the purchase. It was hassle free and pleasant. After working with Tom on the paperwork, I was handed off to Derek Ryan, General Sales Manager to finalize the sale. Derek was easy going, yet professional. We joked a bit, which sets me at ease, and he made me feel confident about my purchase. It was a relatively fast process and I was very pleased about the entire deal. I purchased an extended warranty and had to bring my vehicle back for an interior stain proofing, as part of my warranty. Between my purchase and return (2 days) a star crack - the size of a nickel - appeared on my windshield. Needless to say, I was bummed. When I got to Brown's, I explained my situation to Hekmatullah Abbasi ("Hek"), the Used Car Sales Manager, and he said he would have it taken care of for me. Hek handed me over to the capable Service Advisor, Michele Bolden. Michele was the friendliest service advisor that I have ever dealt with at any dealership. She set me up in a new Kia Optima loaner while my vehicle was in for the warranty service. Needless to say, I am extremely impressed on how I was treated by everyone at Brown's Kia. The entire experience has left me a "believer" and I will be giving them my service business and future purchase business. More
