Took vehicle in for a new motor. Almost a week after the new motor was installed they took the vehicle an hour away from the dealership to one of their service techs house. They did not notify me of this and i called hyundai and they told me this is unacceptable. Hyundai also told me to call the police because they thought it was stolen as well. When i explained this to the General Manager he had a snobby attitude and does not plan to give notifaction to any future customers servicing their vehicles. Also a large dent was in my rear bumper that was not there before they received my vehicle. More
The shop is great, I couldn’t get in before a long trip and they were able to fit me in once I returned. They did a great job and a super cleanup and wash before returning the car. The service that I received initially seemed to go well. Then days afterward I started to get emails from CarFax with mileage estimates that are 60,000 miles over my current mileage. When I checked the service ticket I saw that Safford indicated my mileage was 94,845 rather than a correct value of about 34,845. I am concerned that this will cause suspicion that the odometer was rolled back at some point. It could also present a problem if an insurance action bases the value of my car using this inaccurate mileage figure. I called the Service Department to get this corrected, and could not reach a live person. I left a message that there was a problem, and asked for a return phone call. It has been nearly a week, and I have not heard back from the Safford Service Department. This lack of follow-up has turned my favorable opinion of the dealer into a rather negative impression. More
