I purchased an used 2003 Jeep Liberty that was stated as being inspected by Manassas Hyundai and passing both VA DOT inspection as well as their own 127 point inspection. upon getting the vehicle home it w being inspected by Manassas Hyundai and passing both VA DOT inspection as well as their own 127 point inspection. upon getting the vehicle home it was found that the power steering hose had a small leak and was cleaned so the leak would not beevident during sales inspection. Less than 100 miles later the transmission failed. Further inspection revealed that the transmission also had a small leak and that the drive axle was missiing a protective boot to protect the seal. These items are required inspection points as stated in the VA CODE 19VAC30-70-110 and should have been corrected before sale of the vehicle. More
