First, I would like to clarify that it was a pleasant experience to work with Joshua and Chris. The rating would have been all five stars if not due to the experience we had with the finance lady. BE REA experience to work with Joshua and Chris. The rating would have been all five stars if not due to the experience we had with the finance lady. BE REAL CAREFUL when you are signing the contracts with that lady, I am an honor student in Law & Accountancy and I can tell that the finance lady absolutely has NO BUSINESS ETHICS. We were at the car dealership for 5.5 hours in total; in which 2.5 hours was the wait from the SHADY and DISHONEST finance department. We went into the finance lady’s room and the first thing we asked about was the loan payment. She told us to choose from the two rates that she is offering, **25%** or *11.95%**. No doubt that we picked 11.95%. Next, the finance lady said that our Payment Plan is **11.95%** **$192/month for 4 Years**. We were way too tired to think about the payment amount but you know what, when we got home and looked at it further; the payment she said initially when we entered the room was ALREADY INCLUDING THE TWO OPTIONAL PLANS BEFORE SHE EVEN TRIED TO OFFER US THE TWO OPTIONAL PLANS. Those two plans are $695 Optional Gap Contract and $1555 Powertrain Coverage Plan. We are highly disappointed that not even once did she mention that the two plans are optional NOR did she mention how much the plans were. But anyway, we firmly said NO THANKS to the plans that she offered, therefore we didn’t even ask for the price. Then she started pulling out paperwork for our used car. She basically threw a piles of papers to us, we had a hard time catching up with her; we just remember her saying “sign here, and here and there.” Bear in mind, she did not even explain what we were signing for, it was our stupidity of not looking carefully to see what we were getting ourselves into, all due to the exhaustion of sitting at the dealership for 5 hours. BUT, her behavior and actions of “trapping us into the contracts so she can get the commission” is absolutely dishonest and unethical. She clearly knew that we didn’t want the plans and therefore she took advantage of the fact that we were exhausted and successfully earned her commission from her customers. The next day, we were back attempting to cancel the two optional plans that she made us to sign. We received a bombardment of the awfully long and boring information of how the plans are for our own good and how we shouldn’t cancel it. Good, maybe you should have offered us the plans with those information before we signed the contract. We did not want to do business with a dishonest person and therefore we firmly requested that we are cancelling the plans. According to the contracts, it is our rights to cancel the plans in 30 days. Furthermore, we requested to cancel our Capital One loan and we will pay in cash instead. However, she said it is too late to cancel our Capital One loan and note that right afterwards, we went into Capital One and even our banker thinks that she is a complete dishonest LIAR. Our banker expressed to us that we have the rights to cancel the loan and that the transaction has not been processed yet since it is a Labor Day Weekend. Think about this: If a finance person explained every plan in details and explained the contracts in a non-misleading way and professional manner, why would a customer go back the next day to request cancellation of the two optional plans? The fact is she just threw us a bunch of documents and hoping that when we get home, we will celebrate about our new car and not look at the contracts we signed ever again. Therefore I definitely feel that she is getting commissions from the contracts we signed, it is just my feeling that she gets benefits from doings; it is just a thought, I am not stating that she really is because I personally do not know. The finance lady told us to wait for the cancellation documents for our optional plans in the mail. We are still waiting for the documents even though she had the ability to print them out and handed them to us right when we firmly requested them with our rights. And yet, we do not know what to do with our loan plan since she refused to cancel it for us. On the other hand, Chris(salesperson) and Joshua(manager) are friendly and professional. They provided excellent customer service and professional advice in the progress of looking at the used Toyota Yaris. I have to say that Chris was promoting a optional plan to us too, even as a car salesperson, he explained the plan in a non-misleading way and it was much more professional than that finance lady. Chris understood that we didn’t want the plan and we just moved on the next document really quick and was not pushy about anything at all (that is often lack in most car salesperson). Chris has been very nice to us, after we signed the contract with him, he still served us in his professional manner. When we went back the next day, he treated us like his friends even though he knew that we were not there to buy a car from him. Furthermore, the manager Joshua has a lot of knowledge on cars, he explained to us the condition of our trade-in car in details and he offered a very reasonable price for the car we bought. All in all, I had a horrible experience with the finance department, which is the heart of a company, and affected our experience with this dealership very much. I am planning to buy a new car this month but I don’t think I will go back to this dealership anymore. Chris and Josh were professional, but I do not want to deal with that finance lady anymore. We are still waiting for the documents for plan cancellations from her and we hope that she will do so in a timely manner. If you go to this dealership, go find Joshua and Chris Mallory, they are someone that you can trust. But, stay extra careful with that finance lady when you sign contracts with her. More
This dealer does NOT tell the truth and treats the customer like they are stupid. The organization corruptness is throughout: from management to the service clerk. I just bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra for my son and I have to say the entire buying process was much smoother and more relaxing than any car buying experience I have ever had. Al Patino was our sales rep have to say the entire buying process was much smoother and more relaxing than any car buying experience I have ever had. Al Patino was our sales representative. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the Elantra, but he was by far the most friendly and professional new car sales representative that I have ever dealt with. The pricing was fair and I never felt pressured at any point during the process. While this was my son Stephen's first car buying experience, he too was very impressed with Al. We also dealt with Sarah Burger on the financing and she too was very friendly and professional and the financing process was completed efficiently and without any issues. I would definitely recommend Brown's Manassas Hyundai to anyone. While I would expect that the other sales representatives can also provide an enjoyable buying experience, I can't say enough good things about Al Patino, so I would highly recommend that you ask for him if you make an appointment. I was very happy with my salesperson, Al Patino. He showed kindness and extreme professionalism in my car-buying experience. I couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. (He's the best since he so showed kindness and extreme professionalism in my car-buying experience. I couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. (He's the best since he sold me a Sonata off the showroom floor his first week!) Both Al and the sales manager, Bryan were very informative and showed me what I needed to know about my car and the service department. Definitely appreciate the ease of buying. More

After receiving the run around from a handful of other dealerships (some requiring a $500 deposit just to search for the vehicle I wanted, others being very dishonest ie providing false VIN numbers, and a dealerships (some requiring a $500 deposit just to search for the vehicle I wanted, others being very dishonest ie providing false VIN numbers, and another, after securing a specific vehicle with a deposit, receiving the VIN number, setting up loan and insurance with that particular vehicle, being told that it was sold to someone else) Manassas Hyundai was VERY refreshing to work with. Irish was incredibly friendly and helpful, even under time constraints. The entire process with Irish was very easy and straightforward. I never at any time felt pressured into anything, including any potential add ons to the vehicle I was purchasing. He went out of his way to get me the exact vehicle I wanted within my time frame. The whole team really came together to make this happen, and I was extremely appreciative. They were very competitive with pricing and matched an offer I had already received without any hassle. Sarah in financing was very helpful in explaining the whole process and Brian was a friendly and useful resource regarding the purchase of my vehicle. I would never go anywhere else. They did not only make the whole car buying process much more manageable, but FUN and far less stressful than anywhere else you will go. More

I purchased it the end of January, and have spent WAY TOO MANY DAYS (and tons of hours) back at the dealership. I am now on my THIRD radio, because of a "voice recognition" problem, and nothing has been fixed. First, they told me the problem was MY phone, so I went and bought a new phone (that I now realize I did NOT need.) A minimum of 10 different kinds of phones have been tried. NONE WORK with the Veloster system. Today they sent me home telling me that there is no current "fix" ... and I'll have to WAIT FOR A RECALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The document they gave me says, " Nothing further at this time." They keep telling me the General Manager will call me, and that I'm first on his list. He must have lost the list... because I still haven't heard from him. I am not a happy camper, to say the least. *** I've checked that I would NOT recommend this dealership, but I could change my mind, if somebody could fix the problem. More
