Tony was rude and disrespectful. He hung up the phone during our conversation. I tried to have another conversation with him in person and was treated poorly. during our conversation. I tried to have another conversation with him in person and was treated poorly. More
I want to thank John, Jim and Matt for making this car buying experience so easy and painless. We have been a Hyundai family since the 80's when we got our first Excel. I came in on a cold rainy night jus buying experience so easy and painless. We have been a Hyundai family since the 80's when we got our first Excel. I came in on a cold rainy night just to look around with no intention of buying a new car. John braved the elements and came out to talk to me and I'm glad he did. He walked around in the cold, laughed and talked to me, told me about some options that I had never thought of before and never once pushed or tried to force me to buy a car. When we went inside to talk, he got me a cup of hot chocolate and he and Jim made me an offer I couldn't refuse! These guys are the best. They didn't have the car I wanted on their lot so they had it brought in from Manassas. I went in and talked to Matt who had the paperwork prepared and ready to sign and drove away in a new Sonata. This is my first Sonata, we have had an Excel, Accent, Tiburan, Elantra Sedan, Elantra Wagon and 2 Santa Fe's but somehow skipped the Sonata until now. Thank you John, Jim and Matt for your friendliness, attention to detail and excellent customer service. More
Update 12/9/2012: When we first met with the finance person, can't remember his name, we stated upfront that we needed our payment to be due AFTER the 15th of the month due to our paycheck schedules. He person, can't remember his name, we stated upfront that we needed our payment to be due AFTER the 15th of the month due to our paycheck schedules. He said that would be no problem, when we get the payment coupon just call Hyundai and ask them to adjust the date. When the payment coupon arrived we did as instructed by the dealers finance person, however we were informed by Hyundai finance that we could not adjust the due date. We contacted the finance manager at Brown's, Matt Raymond, and he said "don't worry I will take care of it" after several weeks and mutiple calls to both Hyundai finance and Mr. Raymond we were told that the date could not be changed on a lease. Hyundai finance and Mr. Raymond both suggested that there is a 10 day grace period from the due date before a late fee is applied, and that I could make the payments when I needed and should not have a problem. We have an excellent credit rating and I do everything possible to make sure it stays excellent. After the recent news about Hyundai misreporting of their mpg ratings on their vehicles, the lack of knowledge of their finance employees, how can I trust them when they say they won't report my payments as late or slow even if they are made within the 10 day grace period? Now we are stuck with the due date or we have to refinance at our expense. Although we are happy with the vehicle, I am not sure I would return to either the dealer or Hyundai in the future. After spending a week eliminating other vehicles and dealerships we decided to give Brown's Leesburg Hyundai a try. Initially they did not have the vehicle (2013 Santa Fe 2.0T AWD) in stock, it was in transit. John Sasso kept me informed without being pushy or overbearing. I took a vehicle that would be traded in for an evaluation before the Santa Fe arrived, again John was excellent, very personable and straight forward with no xx. He indicated that we should be able to make a deal that would make us happy (vehicle we like at an acceptable payment). Having heard that several times this week from dealers and salepersons that were unable to deliver, I was just a little skeptical. But when the Santa Fe arrived John and his General Manager, Tony Grist, did everything they promised. We now have a new 2013 Santa Fe 2.0T at a payment that we are very satisfied with. Again John and Tony were excellent, they did what they said they would and came through where others were unable, they form a great team and I would gladly buy from them again. More

This was by far my best experience buying a car. The salesman, John Sasso was professional and amenable, not pushy, very helpful in trying to meet my specific needs. He allowed me to drive further than salesman, John Sasso was professional and amenable, not pushy, very helpful in trying to meet my specific needs. He allowed me to drive further than other dealers, due to some physical issues that I have which require a perfect fit. Everyone there was extremely helpful, polite, and easy to work with. The paperwork has handled expertly and with great ease. I highly recommend the dealership and the salesman, John Sasso More
I've had work done here before with no issues, but I had been taking the vehicle in for services. This time my wife took it in. No issues with the car loaner person. My wife's Hyundai has 79000 miles o been taking the vehicle in for services. This time my wife took it in. No issues with the car loaner person. My wife's Hyundai has 79000 miles on her Veracruz and within the last few weeks the steering wheel started making a noise. My wife took the vehicle in and they told her they couldn't duplicate the noise and saw the power steering hose had a leak and figured that could cause the noise. COULD...well it didn't and it cost us $800 bucks. So I decided to take the Vehicle in and straight said "did you guys actually check to see what the problem was or did you just go, well we see a leak could that be the problem." So we went to the vehicle and in less than 5 minutes was able to duplicate the noise we had been hearing. This tells me they didn't try long enough or not at all (ie I did it less than 5 minutes). And then they said they would do the recall work (some spring in the steering wheel) cause that can cause noise too. Well that didn't, so they figured out its the steering rack and it would cost $1300 bucks. And since they did $800 worth of work that didn't fix it the manager would discount $100. WHAT!!! So long story short I went got my keys (nobody spoke to me while I there) and left to get the vehicle appraised to trade it in on a SUBARU Legacy. YOU have just lost a Hyundai customer! More
The buying experience at this dealership was easy and painless. John Sasso is approachable, knowledgeable and friendly, and didn’t play the typical dealership games with me. While he called to let me k painless. John Sasso is approachable, knowledgeable and friendly, and didn’t play the typical dealership games with me. While he called to let me know when he had vehicles in stock, he didn’t get pushy with me about a sale, which was refreshing. John also worked with me to make sure I was happy with the trade in value I received for the Honda I was trading. My husband and I have both now purchased new vehicles from this dealership and been extremely satisfied with the service and no-nonsense approach of everyone we’ve dealt with – from sales and general management to finance. The dealership appears to genuinely care that the customers are satisfied with their purchase, and tries to make the entire process enjoyable. More
