We visited the Waldorf Hyundai Dealership and due two sales managers, our experience the worst customer service that I ever received with interest to purchasing a vehicle “ever”! We are not young and we purchased many vehicles. The haggling was disrespectful and belittling. Therefore, we contacted the Fairfax Dealership online and they responded quickly. The Sales Associate Don Barker was supportive of our request, patient, offered reasonable advice to our requests and assisted us to get great bargain. We would have saved $2000.00, however they reduced the price an additional $500.00 to beat an online offer at another dealership. Because of Mr. Barker, the Sales Manager and Finance super great service we had an exceptionally great purchasing experience. Although, we travel much further to purchase a vehicle. It was well worth it! Listed below are several reasons why you should consider purchasing from Fairfax Hyundai… • Great Sales Associates – Mr. Don Barker • Very professional Management and Staff – they believe in great customer satisfaction • Inventory, inventory, inventory Thanks, the Queens More

My wife and i went in with a price in mind that we were willing to spend and the staff did everything they could to meet it. Joseph took the time to explain all of the functions that the car had and helped me with a couple issues that i encountered after we had left the dealership. I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone that asks about purchasing a hyundai. Thank you for a very stress free vehicle purchase! More

We told Kojo that we had previously test drove with Ronnie, but want to test drive the Santa Fe Sport again. We thought Kojo went to get the car, but 30 minutes later we realized he was waiting for Ronnie to come in. We told him we don't need to work with Ronnie again and he finally went to get a car for us to test drive. This was not 12:15pm. We test drove the car and asked for the specific color we wanted. Then started negotiations. It took a while to negotiate when Kojo was the middle man. When the manager came to negotiate with us directly we were able to close the deal quickly. At this time it was 3pm before we finalized the deal. The final steps were to finalize the financing. Kojo reviewed the car information with us and showed us the service center. After that we finished our financing, this went fairly quick. We walked out of the dealership with our car by 5pm. More
Opaque Pricing. If you are going to advertise "Transparent Pricing" on your website, then you should try to be...well...transparent? This is not the case with Fairf If you are going to advertise "Transparent Pricing" on your website, then you should try to be...well...transparent? This is not the case with Fairfax Hyundai. I received a lease quote online and headed over to the dealership to get a bottom line price after taxes & fees. I walked in and was greeted by a salesman, I asked to test drive the Sonata 2.0T Limited. He comes back 5 minutes later and asks "with navigation or without?". Red Flag #1...this model only comes with navigation...how does the salesman know less about the car than I do? We go thru the test drive and he admits that he doesn't know much about Hyundai as he just started working there a week ago. Why Fairfax Hyundai would throw him out there to sell cars he doesn't know anything about yet is just bad business practice. We sit down afterwards to go thru pricing. Of course their initial quote is $100+ higher than their online lease quote. I show him the lease quote I received online and ask why the difference? I ask for a listing of the taxes and fees they have added - which is the very definition of transparent pricing? He goes out to talk to the sales manager - Leo Blakeney and returns with no details but a lower price. He then explains to me that the added fees include freight/dest charge. I ask him why am I being charged a sep freight/dest charge when it is already included in the MSRP price of the vehicle? He once again leaves to talk to Leo. This time he comes back with Leo, who is clearly annoyed or upset and Leo's first words to me are "WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM HERE". No greeting, no smile, nothing. He then proceeds to try to lecture me about the separate freight/dest charge while speaking over me whenever I try to ask a question. I finally get him to answer my questions: 1.) is the freight/dest charge included in the vehicle MSRP? Yes. 2.) So you are discounting from the MSRP and then added the freight/dest charge back in after? Yes. Ummmm....OK? The pricing was getting less and less "transparent". Leo abruptly leaves and my salesman then proceeds to tell me how everyone hates Leo and he's such a jerk. And says "see what I have to deal with? Theres another Hyundai down the street, I will probably just go work there." More Red Flags...If the salesman cannot even work with Leo, how will they possibly work with me to get a fair price? I was eventually provided a piece of paper with some numbers on it that looked like someone typed up in Notepad...and of course it still didn't list out all the fee's that were being added to the price. Needless to say I didn't purchase/lease the car from Fairfax Hyundai. I got a much better offer from another Hyundai dealership. I tried emailing Fairfax Hyundai to see if they would match or beat the offer because of they emailed me about their "We will match any offer/deal - Price Promise". They responded to say "We cannot match that offer. I recommend you jump on that other offer". So I caution anyone looking for a good deal or fair deal to look elsewhere. If you know what you are doing they will most likely be rude to you (ie Leo Blakeney). I ended up paying $40 less a month compared to Fairfax Hyundai's "best" offer. And of course they still call me every day to try to get me to come in again. More

Vi I was highly impressed with my salesman, Vincent Cheung! He was personable, professional, and very knowledgable about the cars I was considering. Vincent was never pushy or overbearing, and helped make the car buying experience very enjoyable. I accredit his patience and honesty as one of the main reasons I purchased a car that day. So if you're looking to buy a Hyundai and want to work with someone who is far from your traditional, pushy, slimy car salesman, ask for Vincent-- You won't be disappointed. More
