I had a starter replaced at Safford Brown Honda Glen Burnie in the beginning of this month when I could not start my vehicle. I thought Honda dealer was honest and trustworthy even though it usually ch Burnie in the beginning of this month when I could not start my vehicle. I thought Honda dealer was honest and trustworthy even though it usually charges a higher hourly rate compared to other auto garages, unfortunately, they charged me way over the normal price range. After I came back, I checked the other dealers near Safford Brown Honda Glen Burnie and got the quotes much less than what they did to me. At that time I even asked the advisor why the cost was so high, he said he did not know as he did not work on the vehicle directly. I did not have time to talk about it since I was in a hurry to leave. Now I have tried to reach Safford Brown Honda about this issue with the necessary info including invoice #, date, etc. a few times, but have not been able to get any response. So I'll continue to post my experience so that anyone can think about it again before going for their Service. More
I have been dealing with this dealership for almost 3 weeks! The oringinal car I wanted and signed papers for they sold out under me. I have been back and forth with this place for 3 weeks and had to keep coming back because this was not right that was not right, or that was not right, they would not even take a personal check for my down payment! So I went somewhere else, got more money for my trade in, paid less for the car and walked off the lot the same day with the car! I do not recommend this place at all! Not to mention the dealer accused my of taking the keys to the car I was looking at, meanwhile the finance manager had them the whole time More
In regards to all HONDA vehicles do not buy! !! All HONDA Recalls including SAFETY Recalls require the dealership to charge you a inspection fee to verify the already found problem the HONDA MFG !! They claim if they find there is a problem then you will not be charged and will be covered under the recall. BUT if they do not find any issue you WILL get charged a fee. ONLY MFG that I know of that does this. The people at Safford Browns Honda tried claiming under a seat belt recall that my daughter spilled something in the latch. After arguing with the service manager to show me proof he then said they would replace it under the recall. Currently there is a recall for the Fuel PUMP MODULE and it clearly states on the recall notice that it could cause the vehicle to stall while driving which could lead to accident or injury!!!! Now the dealership wants $220 to check it out. If they find nothing wrong, it will cost her $220. I can guarantee they will find nothing wrong because they just want the money. WHY IS CUSTOMERS BEING CHARGED An INSPECTION OR DIAGNOSTIC FEE FOR SOMETHING HONDA THEMSELVES DEEMED BAD AND SENT A LETTER STATING ITS BAD AND THEY WILL REPLACE IT FOR FREE!!!! More
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Safford Brown Honda at Glen Burnie. I initially called them regarding a New Honda Pilot Elite and agreed on an out-the-door price of $52,136.29. I was assure Brown Honda at Glen Burnie. I initially called them regarding a New Honda Pilot Elite and agreed on an out-the-door price of $52,136.29. I was assured by Sales Representative Guzman and Sales Manager LaMont Matthews that the car would arrive by June 16. However, when I called back on June 20, I was told that no such person named Guzman worked there, which I later found out was a lie after another call confirmed his employment. To make matters worse, they claimed their system was down and could no longer honor the agreed-upon price. This level of dishonesty and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and advise others to be cautious if considering this dealership. More
First of all, everyone I dealt with was very polite and pleasant. I submitted my car via Car Gurus to sell, and Safford Brown came back immediately (and yes, I know it's automated based on my input) with t pleasant. I clearly specified the actual mileage and condition of the car in Car Gurus. After arriving at the dealer and their test drive/appraisal (which took about 20 minutes), the best they would offer was $32,000. I asked why the huge drop in price and was told that the mileage on the car warranted the deduction. Beware this dealer! A reduction based on an already known mileage known seems to me to be the bait and switch routine. More

Safford Brown Honda Glen Burnie is very shady and deceptive. Tried to charge me over $1,500 for brake work when some of the work completed had already been covered by insurance, then took a month to deceptive. Tried to charge me over $1,500 for brake work when some of the work completed had already been covered by insurance, then took a month to provide the proper paperwork and documentation to the adjuster with me having to waste time and reach out almost daily. Lastly, they had lied to me saying the insurance denied covering what I had to pay for when in fact they had not sent anything to the insurance for those repairs then told me that damage was possibly caused by my accident but then turned around and told the adjuster it was unrelated so I wouldn’t be reimbursed by my insurance. This dealership is incredibly deceptive and shady, and full of liars like Philip O’Connor a manager and Jennifer a service advisor who were the main contributors to the issues I had here. Will never return and suggest you find anywhere else and not get ripped off by these scammers. More
