Our Odyssey was towed to Brown's for a repair that was COVERED under Honda Care's extended warranty. While in the shop we opted for an oil change and rotation of the tires. What was supposed to be under $130, ended up nearly costing $2700!!! The service writer offered to save us a few hundred dollars by offering to do $2700 of completely unneeded and unwarranted work. When questioned about the "need" versus "should," and even "start to think of in near future," I was repeatedly told that I had to have the work done! This is the same speech my panic stricken wife got. The most shameful part is that this was done while preying upon a MOM worried about her children and being stranded!!! Now being VERY skeptical I cold called 10 dealerships (cold calling Brown's MD and Arlington also) and got VERY different stories. HONDA America has service bulletins and does not recommend services Brown's said I HAD to do. When cold calling their own dealership, the writer didn't recommend the services, stating that it was a waste of money... and quoting me a different price on what WOULD BE DUE in the near future (15k miles from now)!! I was even told that BY LAW, we had to do a $300 service on the A/C... just to ensure future efficiency. Well, the service req'd by law ISN"T. In fact, it wasn't even recommended unless a failure occurred! Since the service writers are commission employees, it is VERY easy to see that the scared women having her vehicle towed in for a COVERED repair was an easy mark. Preying upon fear and ignorance IS NOT the Honda way. Shame SHAME SHAME Brown's Arlington Honda!!!! By the way, HONDA CARE is worth EVERY PENNY! Just don't buy or service your vehicles at Brown's...unless you have money to burn on unneeded and in some cases detrimental services (engine flush, PS flush, brake fluid yearly, and timing belts 15k miles earlier than ANY honda books or specs). SHAME SHAME!!!! More
Mr. Bergman was very helpful from the minute I called the dealership to discuss buying a new car. Within minutes he gave me a final, walk out the door price which did not change after I visited the dealershi dealership to discuss buying a new car. He also was able to obtain the particular color that I was looking for from another dealership and had it ready for me the same day. It was without a doubt the best and easiest car buying experience I have ever had and I would highly recommend this dealership and Mr. Bergman in particular, to anyone looking to buy a new car. More
The following is the treatment afforded me by the New Cars Sales Manager, Eric Demby yesterday. Our interaction began with an online Costco inquiry and a followup e-mail by me requesting Costco pricing on Honda Insights. I viewed the Brown dealership website and saw that there are 2 Insights in inventory. Eric asked me to come into the dealership. I asked if he could send me the prices because I live in Germantown, MD and coming to Brown's would be a long drive. He said no (I've had other Costco dealers give me prices before!) and that I would have to come in. Once I come in, he tells me they have not had Insights in inventory for a while and probably won't have any for 2 or more months. Additionally, once they get Insights, they won't do Costco pricing. I asked why he asked me to come in if he knew this and why is the online inventory so out of date? He said he didn't remember discussion of the Insight upon which I showed him the e-mails SPECIFICALLY pointing out the Insight LX and EX models. His response was that he didn't specify to come in today. All of this and the fact that he was completely unapologetic for coercing me to drive that distance IN traffic is quite upsetting. After all of this, I was quite upset and quite angry at wasting time and gas to come to Arlington, but I turn to leave instead of getting into an argument. As I'm walking out, he calls out mockingly "Have a nice ride to Germantown!" More
Admine Kadmiri was flawlessly knowledgable about his product to a degree that I have rarely experienced. Amine Kadmiri went out of his way to ensure that my car-buying needs were met. He was very helpful in identifying the appropriate trim package for my car and ensured that the car that I chose met my needs. Amine was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable about the vehicle inventory, and took care of me during the purchase process. He made the car-buying process painless and I will recommend him as a salesperson to anyone interested in a car purchase in the future. More

I wanted a no-hassle lease vehicle, Amine got the exact car I wanted (Glacier Blue Crosstour) to pick up the next day with current license plates.
