His knowledge and hard work made me positive that I received the best deal possible. Normally at car dealerships you feel like the salesman is trying to scam you, but not with Peter. His kindness and helpfulness surpassed any prior experiences I have had with car buying. I will be coming to Brown's for years to come after working with him. Once I picked up my car he walked me through the entire manual and even helped me set up my car with the settings I desired. Extremely helpful, polite, and professional! I bought a 2011 Honda Fit from Brown's Arlington Honda last June. In recent weeks, they've sent several mailings announcing express oil changes -- the mailing promises 30 minute oil changes with no appoi last June. Nonetheless, last week I called the service department to confirm that they could service my car in 30 minutes and that I needn't make an appointment. I was assured that they could do it ("we have two express bays," I was told) and that I didn't need to schedule an appointment. I don't know the name of the service advisor who told me this. When I arrived later that day, I was told (this time by Marcos Perez) that I'd have to wait one-and-a-half hours. I pulled out the flyer I'd received in the mail and showed it to him. He claimed to know nothing about it, and suggested that if I scheduled an appointment for an early morning, I could get the oil changed in half an hour. I did that. On the day of my 8AM appointment, I showed up 15 minutes early, waited (that's fine) and promptly at 8AM I was invited to wait for the hour it would take to change the oil. ONE HOUR? I reminded the service advisor about our conversation the previous week, reminded him that he'd assured me that they could do the job in half an hour if I made an early morning appointment, and then asked why the story was different now. He took another look at his computer and suggested that my car might be finished in 45 minutes. I reminded him about Brown's advertised express service. He appeared, again, to know nothing about it, and suggested that I contact the management. I do not blame the service advisor (Marcos Perez). The problem lies much higher -- with a management that makes promises it cannot or will not fulfill, and puts programs like express service in place on paper (mailed to customers) but not in the garage. Isn't this called bait and switch? My car is under warranty, so I have no choice but to seek service from a Honda dealer. But it won't be Brown's. I understand there's one in Falls Church -- does anyone know if they are more respectable? More

It is an excellent car. It is fully loaded and very comfortable. It has tinted windows, rear view camera and comfortable seats. It is just the car I wanted. We called a number of dealers about a new CRV. We weren't able to get to a dealer in person, so Brian Bergman at Brown's actually drove a CRV to our house so we could decide on a color. This was the first new car I have purchased in my lifetime. Even though I do not have any previous purchases to use as standards, I was quite pleased with my experience. I was totally impressed by the entire stafff at Brown's, from top to bottom. My sales representative, Peter, was friendly, knowledgeable and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Unlike many dealerships in the DC metro area that I visited, there was no attempt to pad the "out the door" price with bogus administrative charges, "market value" charges, destination fees, appearance groups, etc. I never thought buying a car would be such a breeze based on the horror stories I heard from friends and family. Definitely recommend visiting Brown's Honda, and ask to speak with Peter. More

I knew what I wanted as far as a car before walking in the dealer. When approached I simply requested the type of car and asked for the final price out the door (no other dealer I have been to accomplishe the dealer. When approached I simply requested the type of car and asked for the final price out the door (no other dealer I have been to accomplished this task easily). Yet, seven minutes later I had a price on paper that included all price and fees which was lower than my expectations. Needless to say the deal got done. This was my first new car purchase and the staff at Brown's really made it a very positive and efficient experience. I was refered to them by a customer and I would recommend if you want a Honda and are in the Northern Virginia area to go there for your needs. More
