Broken Promises I purchased a 2015 Ford F150 from the Dayton SVG location on Saturday, March 18 from Josh Frazier. Financing issues After agreeing on a purchase I purchased a 2015 Ford F150 from the Dayton SVG location on Saturday, March 18 from Josh Frazier. Financing issues After agreeing on a purchase price and trade in value that we all thought was fair- Josh and Terrill Helton told me that interest rates for my credit rating (I have an 820 credit score) would be between 2.5-3%. When I met with Anthony Dellaria thirty minutes later, I was told the interest rate would be 4.3%. This was a BIG surprise! Anthony then sent my information to River Valley Credit Union to secure a loan for 3.09%. At that time, I asked Anthony if I was eligible to be a member of RVCU- to which he answered yes. The following Monday, I received a call from Greg Nicoll letting me know that I was not eligible for membership at RVCU and that he had to once again send my information to another creditor. Greg was kind enough to send a driver to my office to sign new finance papers. The driver however; was not informed about the paperwork I was signing and wasn’t event able to tell me what bank I was financing with (it was not clear on the forms I was signing). I found out later in the week via automated text message that my financing is through Capital One. Missing floor mats Once paperwork was complete, Josh walked me to my new vehicle, where I noticed there were no front floor mats. When I inquired about the location of the floor mats, Terrill shook my hand and told me if there were no floor mats, to send a receipt for the ones I purchased and I would be reimbursed. Josh went to look for the floor mats but came back empty handed. I headed home and ordered the factory stock floor mats from my local Ford Dealer and sent the receipt on to Josh. Josh’s communications have been short and unprofessional, letting me know that he was unable to view the attachment and photo that was provided in the body of the email. I called the SVG location that I purchased the vehicle from and was connected to Preston Dray. While Preston did offer a fax number for me to send my receipt to, he was rather short and unfriendly. I left the call feeling frustrated. Broken side-view mirror When I got the vehicle home on March 18 and attempted to pull into my garage, I realized the passenger side side-view mirror could not be folded in. Something in the basic mechanics of the mirror was broken- it is not an electric folding mirror. I quickly made an appointment at my local Ford Dealer to have it looked at- the vehicle is still under factory bumper to bumper warranty, after all. When I arrived at Ford, they let me know there was evidence of the mirror being hit and that its replacement would not be covered by warranty. The replacement of the mirror would cost me $800! I left the dealership feeling like I had been taken advantage of and the SVG did not sell me the product I was promised. Later, when looking through my purchase paperwork, I ran across a referral card that Josh gave me. It specifically said on it, that if SVG finds something broken on a used vehicle, they fix it before selling it. With the 172 point inspection that SVG claims, I would assume they would have found the broken rearview mirror. During my time at the dealership, the associates told me how important Google and Dealer Rater reviews are to their company. Through multiple conversations with SVG’s salesmen and marketing department, nothing has been done to rectify this situation- no apology, and no attempt to live up to the promise made to reimburse for the floor mats nor fix the damage vehicle they sold me. I know that they sell cars each and every day- but $30,000 is a very large investment for a person to make and I am extremely disappointed with my choice to invest with SVG. More

They are NOT your typical car dealership, where you feel "pushed" and are treated like a "sale". They go above and beyond to make you feel like family! The entire staff make you feel welcome and are there to help you with your car buying needs. Nathan Noxsel was our Associate and he listened to what our hopes and expectations were as well as our budgeting needs. He showed us a few other vehicles (than what we specifically went to see) and much to our surprise, we ended up with a car that was on our "don't want" list.
