I racked up $650 in rental car charges waiting to have a diagnosis. Waited nearly a week to find out that the reason my 2014 Volt would not go into park was because the 12V battery had died. I'm stunned that David had no clue on my initial call that this was the issue. If he had told me that might be it, I actually was at an O'Reilly store when my car failed. I could have had the AAA tow driver help me choose a battery and installation would have been free. David also told me your appointment system doesn't actually honor appointments. You need to pay for a triage tool. Your service department is huge and I know it's where Rydell makes most of its money. Not buying another car from you for you to service unless you solve this issue. More
Not sure what's going on with Rydell, I've been going to them for a very long time , never experienced such a dishonesty, pushing for unneeded service recommendations. "YOUR BRAKES NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTIO them for a very long time , never experienced such a dishonesty, pushing for unneeded service recommendations. "YOUR BRAKES NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION" even though brakes were changed by Rydell 4 mo 8K miles prior. When I challenged the service writer to show me why my brakes need attention only thing he could do point the finger to his tech and apologize. 2nd item was the battery replacment. "YOUR BATTERY FAILED" I had the battery tested next morning, Battery is healthy. Even though I have one more prepaid oil change , will not be going back to Rydell, my truck will in better hands anywhere else. These guys need to be investigated by The Bureau of Automotive Repair. More
