I took my son’s 2018 civic in for air conditioner maintenance. I was initially told it was under warranty. After three days once the part came in I received another call telling me it was not under w maintenance. I was initially told it was under warranty. After three days once the part came in I received another call telling me it was not under warranty because the part was after market. I bought the car at David Mcdavid in Frisco and was told I should call there. I asked if I could pick the car up and just take it to them and was told there were already labor costs involved I would have to pay. After contacting the service manager at David Mcdavid he assured me the part was a Honda part. After spending about a day trying to figure this out I got a call from Rusty Wallis telling me it was a mistake and the part was indeed a Honda part but it could bot be repaired that day because it was too late. The car was repaired and the a/c works well but I had also been told there was a nail in one of the tires that had to be patched and it would cost $30. After the admitted mistake, my time and frustration I would and do expect at least that amount of customer service where the tire could have been patched at no cost. I ended up taking it a tire place who patched it for $10. The experience gives me second thoughts about taking it here again. More
