I bought a new Honda Accord from Rusty Wallis Honda in September of 2020. About 2 weeks ago, my car would not start. I got a jump from my neighbor which allowed me to take a risky drive to autozone. Autoz September of 2020. About 2 weeks ago, my car would not start. I got a jump from my neighbor which allowed me to take a risky drive to autozone. Autozone checked the battery and the alternator and said that the battery was bad. My wife suggested that I contact Rusty Wallis Honda. I was told by Rusty Wallis Honda that the batteries in new cars are warrantied for 3 years. I explained to them what happened and they said that they require me to drive the car (with a dead battery) to their dealership. I explained that I thought it risky to drive the car to Autozone, and thought it would be stupid to try to drive it to the dealership. The Rusty Wallis dealership said that they would do nothing about this because they require the battery to be replaced at the dealership. I explained that I have the autozone receipt but they would not offer any help. More
We are always pleased with Rusty Wallis Service Center. The wait time is usually minimal, and the service advisors are always exceptional. Rusty Wallis is a great place to purchase a car as well as routinely having it serviced. They kept my last CR-V in tip-top shape for 12years and 210,000 miles.
