You hear all these horror stories about getting ripped off your first time buying a car, but the gentlemen working with me went above and beyond to accomodate my needs. Shannon Stone, the Internet Sales Manager, and Ditto, the wonderful finance man, worked together with me to make buying my first car an amazing experience. Of course I did my homework before hand (as I reccommend to anyone researching for their first car), but my homework led me to realize how honesty and integrity plays a part of Rusty Wallace Kia. They were asking the price listed by KBB and CarFax; no price hike to get more from me than I could afford, no games, just an honest team doing honest business. I appreciate them more than words can say. Thanks too all who made my first car buying experience one of the best experiences of life so far (with an honorable mention to Dean who helped me find where to write my review after I misplaced my paper... sorry, Shannon). Today they took my Sorento and put me in a fully loaded Optima 2015 and I was able to eliminate almost all of my negative equity. He was also very good at explaining all the features of the car and knowledgeable about what the different models had in comparison to each other. He even searched for the color we wanted. We must have visited 10 to 15 big time car lots from Knoxville to Morristown and spent several hours searching the Internet. Saturday Night We Visited Rusty Wallace Kia On Callahan Drive in Knoxville Tennessee. When we showed up everyone had already left except the sales manager Shannon Stone. He told us that they were closed but we were free to look around and if we saw anything we were interested in to let him know. My wife was immediately drawn to the new 2015 Kia Sorento. Shannon talked to us about the cost and we decided that it was a little to high for our budget since we didn't have any money to put down. He explained to us that he could research his inventory on Monday morning and find us a used one that we could afford with no money down. Before we left he asked us what color vehicle we wanted, if we wanted leather or cloth, and how many miles we were willing to accept on a used vehicle. He called me on Monday morning and said that he had found a Chevy traverse that had everything we were looking for. I told him that we were not interested in a Chevy we really wanted a kia sorento or a honda pilot. He told me that he understood and would continue looking. Tuesday morning he called me to let me know that he had found a 2013 kia with very low miles and plenty of warranty left on it if we would be interested in coming down and looking at it. When my wife and I got there it was exactly what we were looking for. The color, interior, and milage exactly what we asked for. Also he had printed up a carfax report without us even asking for it. In my opinion Shannon Stone went above and beyond expectations for us. You have to remember he's not a salesman. He's the manager. He could have easily pawned us off on one of his salesmen to haggle with since he doesn't make comission off of any cars he sales. You see he is a salaried employee as a manager.
