Trading Kia Soul's Keith McGinty called us that day, just happened to be my birthday. He told us that he could trade Kia Soul's with us for exactly the same payment tha Keith McGinty called us that day, just happened to be my birthday. He told us that he could trade Kia Soul's with us for exactly the same payment that we were making now for a new soul. Well we fell for it head and tail. When we got there Naturally our payment turned out to be $30.00 on the month higher for the new Soul which is wonderful if it does not tighten your budget at all. Now I know that I sound chintzy but it is not that at all. I draw disability and am 59 and my wife is 58 and still works full time with a set 40 hours a week. She doesn't make all that much money and we live week to week month to month so we have to watch all of our ps and qs so to speak. Anyways, that was a little disappointing to me as the head of the household because I only got my wife to agree to come because He told me nothing would change with the payment. It is what it is though. Then I asked for the $1000.00 gift card when you purchased a new 2019 auto. That is another mistruth they are saying on TV and needs to be changed. I was told it was for anyone that was buying Anything BUT the Soul. If your company REALLY wants to be trusted for honesty and loyalty, try tell the truth on TV and over the phone and explain it is only for the more expensive automobiles and don't tell someone on the phone that their payment would not go up if they even have an inkling that it might. We love Kia and want to continue to come back every few years and trade but that was the only two disappointments that we felt. Your folks are very nice and wonderful people and we are sure they were doing the job they have been instructed to do. This is just a suggestion on how it could be better. BE HONEST FROM THE TELEVISION TO THE TELEPHONE. More
