From: - Gene & Patricia Normand Always needing two vehicles for the past 30 plus years for each of us to drive, we decided in September of 2015 it was time to trade a 2006 Honda Truck and a 2007 Hyundai Entourage Minivan and try downsizing to only one newer and smaller SUV! I was pretty sure, from research it would likely be a one or two year old, one owner, Kia Sorento, Honda CRV or one of the two Hyundai Santa-Fe models. After investigating options an pricing with Honda and Hyundai dealers I fortunately saved Rusty Wallace Kia in Alcoa, TN for last as I definitely wanted to drive the CR highly rated Kia Sorento! I had researched KIA salesperson reviews and David Autry popped up several times and I therefore asked for him specifically. He certainly became our favorite ultimate Sales Consultant! David Autry, turned out to be a highly knowledgeable, impressive “Breath of Spring”! We had a set budget, and David and the Rusty Wallace KIA Team were the only ones close to meeting it! We purchased that first 2014 KIA Sorento in September-2015 (3.3L-V6 with only 13,132 miles, 21 months of use. Still looked showroom new and thoroughly LOVED IT for the past 16 months! We still loved it, however, our now 8 & 10 year old Grandkids and their mother, were still missing the size of the old Entourage Van, the roaming room and of course there were those times, now that we were down to one vehicle we needed more than seating then just 5 … !!! So, end of January-2017 we returned to the same dealership, and naturally to David Autry again to look at 1-2 year old Sedona Mini-vans, again with a specific budget not to exceed! Voila, again David met our specs and goals and we are very happy with another, looking still new, 2016 Sedona-LX, 15K miles and with all the toys we desired! Once again the friendly, low key, professional experience made us feel warmly comfortable and not pressured at all. We got exactly the larger minivan we desired and once again we couldn't be happier and thankful to our Sales Consultant, David Autry and the Rusty Wallace KIA Team. We sincerely appreciate all of their commitment to their customers and quality of service. More

We were very impressed by our salesman, Dean DeChaine, as well as Rusty Wallace KIA as a complete dealership with a lot of integrity. We returned to that dealership, and to Mr. DeChaine to purchase a new KIA Soul in 2016. Once again, the friendly, professional and low key vibe made us feel comfortable, and not pressured at all. We got exactly the car we wanted, and we were treated warmly, with respect and a lot of kindness. My husband had been looking for a particular pre-owned truck and although he thought it was unlikely that he would find it, there it was sitting in the KIA parking lot; the exact truck! What started out as a purchase of my KIA Soul ended up with us buying two vehicles. We couldn't be happier, and we are very thankful to our salesman, Dean DeChaine, our Sales Manager, Jake Bull, and the entire Rusty Wallace KIA Team. BETTER BEWARE OF BJ & SALESTEAM Let me preface my review with I have purchased two Kia vehicles (Soul and Optima) from Ted Russell Kia in Knoxville, TN and I am a huge Kia fan and su Let me preface my review with I have purchased two Kia vehicles (Soul and Optima) from Ted Russell Kia in Knoxville, TN and I am a huge Kia fan and supporter of the product. If you are looking to purchase a Kia vehicle, my advice to you is to shop somewhere other than the Rusty Wallace Kia in Alcoa, TN. I went to that dealership in May of 2016 and test drove a 2017 Kia Sportage with a salesman by the name of "B.J." He said he couldn't sell me a car until I had $3,000 to put down on the Sportage. So.... I contacted B.J. this week (8-8-16) to let him know I had the money. The long and short of the situation is that B.J. said he couldn't make the deal work. Nothing financially has changed with me since May except that my financial situation and credit score have improved which should make things better. B.J. also told me that I must have been looking at the 2016 Kia Sportage because the 2017 didn't come out until June or July and that was the reason things had changed. However, I know for a fact that he and I test drove a 2017 Kia Sportage with B.J. in the car. I also know that the 2017 Kia Sportage came out in December 2016. The bottom line is B.J. is a liar and a very unavailable salesman. The Rusty Wallace Dealership in Alcoa, TN supports BJ so I now have little to no respect for them as well. Let me mention here that the service department at Rusty Wallace Kia in Alcoa is EXCELLENT. I just wouldn't buy a vehicle from them. More

So I highly recommend looking at all your paper work! They supposedly Gave her 5000 on her car as a trade in.. Instead she basically gave her car to them and they doubled all there finance charges,they added after market stuff to her paper work mind you she has a basic car with nothing extra not even cruise. Please don't trust Chuck after you purchase the car and your very unhappy he will tell you there is nothing he can do to help you! Now to get a lawyer and see what we can do with this mess! Thanks for nothing Rusty Wallace Kia we will never be back and I will let everyone I know to not buy a car from here! More

All the staff and sales personnel at Kia, Alcoa were very knowledgeable about their inventory and attentive to our needs and many questions. We were interested in and subsequently purchased a 2014 Sorento. Although, before we made our final decision, we were shown several models to ensure we received the vehicle suited to us. Service Department Took my 2013 KIA in for a engine check light. I was told that my battery caused the engine check light to come on. Would cost around $160 dollars to r Took my 2013 KIA in for a engine check light. I was told that my battery caused the engine check light to come on. Would cost around $160 dollars to replace battery and labor. I passed. Came home and checked my battery with a volt meter. In cause you are wondering if I know how to read a meter, I am an electrician. The battery read 12.4 volts with no load, started read 10.9 volts, running at 14.8 volts which shows the battery and all electrical parts working. Turn on all equipment on the car, volts read at 14.7 volts. You tell me my battery caused the engine check light to come on. The cause was I had not tighten the gas cap. Error code P0455. Auto Zone reset the error and have no came back. So my advice is: to keep your eyes open and both both hands on your money if you have to deal with the service department. You are fore warn. More
