Had a very good visit to Rusty Wallace. Came in for recall service and asked to check my brakes. Service concierge Mr Nick Mancuso was there to check me in. He took care of getting my brake concerns checked, promptly got back to inform me of what service w as s needed to fix my issue. He seemed very invested in my concerns and took time to answer all my questions. Thought the refreshments in waiting area a good touch while waiting we all get a little thirsty. After a little wait time passed Mr Mancuso in ffg formed me my car is getting washed will be ready very shortly. All in all my views about dealership service has changed some. For basic oil change, yes I would. But I was in in Sept 2022 and Debbie had the tech check out some damage I needed fixed. I was told I just needed a new skid plate. I paid for the plate and bolts/screws and they ordered it. When I came back to have it installed, new damages were found. Now I need a new radiator support, washer fluid pump and tank, some plastic bumper, piece and a few other things. Total $2500. I decided to file on my insurance. When state farm called to verify the estimate, they got Debbie and she told them there was no estimate, they didn't have the vehicle (which they don't, it's drivable) and that they wouldn't even be able to fix it there anyways. Now on my 2nd visit for the installation of the skid plate, I spoke with David and Jenna. They gave me the impression the damage could be fixed at your alls service center. Maybe I misunderstood, I was obviously upset at this point because I came in to get a simple fix and now need way more stuff replaced. So now I have been trying to get this fixed for over a month. I have tried to call the service center several times this week, and held for more than 5 minutes each time. I understand they are busy and probably short staffed. There needs to be someone in the office that can answer their calls that go beyond scheduling appointments. I would like to note that Jenna is clearly running that place and does amazing, and David did an awesome job as well with my upset self. More
