Rude staff. Price advertised was not correct. Deal given changed after I paid a deposit. Manager said he would wait on another deal then called me back to ask me to take the original deal. I declined. Still waiting on my deposit. We will see if that happens. More
Vacationing in TN, my Ford E-150 van quit running on the interstate near Newport, TN. I had it towed to nearest Ford Dealer (Rusty Walace). They took a week to replace a bad fuel pump; didn't honor their i interstate near Newport, TN. I had it towed to nearest Ford Dealer (Rusty Walace). They took a week to replace a bad fuel pump; didn't honor their initial repair quote; charged "extra" for items that even a novice Ford mechanic could see needed to be included; left lights (or ignition) on over the weekend draining (flat lining) the battery which caused extra delays at pick up time to recharge the battery (not to mention shortening the life of my battery); left greasy hand prints on the hood, doors and sides of my (white) van. I asked for an adjustment or discount on the bill but the service personel flatly refused. I also spoke with Ford customer relations, about a month ago, about my dissatisfaction with this dealership's service and regarding an adjustment on the bill. To date, no responce was received from either the dealership or Ford customer relations. More
This dealership sold my grandmother a used car that fell started falling apart the first time she drove it. She literally drove it two miles the windshield wiper fell off and the brake lights went out. Of c started falling apart the first time she drove it. She literally drove it two miles the windshield wiper fell off and the brake lights went out. Of course we took it back and when we did I was told by the manager "This isn't Walmart, you can't just bring in your receipt and return the car" this was after she had the car she bought on friday didn't drive it until sunday and took it back on monday. OH did I mention that on the way there the transmission stopped changing gears and for the last 8 miles to the dealership the car raced the entire time and never switched gears. They told her the paperwork had been sent in so the only option she had was to buy another car from their lot....now who would want to buy a car from the same lot that lied and sold you a car that they said the car had never been wrecked which come to find out it had been big surprise! yea that would make me trust them and feel good about another purchase. The main issue is that she was willing to cooperate and try to find something else but they didn't have much used inventory in her price range so instead of working with her and maybe calling one of their other dealerships to check their inventory or negotiate on their price they attempted to sale her another car that had I not asked to see the report myself i assure you they would not have informed us that it too had been in an accident and who knows what else. So we left the car with them and stopped payment on the check which she was paying in full for the car and she got a letter saying she was being sued ...for their screw up and dishonesty. She is an 82 year old sweet lady who they are trying to intimidate! I believe this should go down in the books as the definition of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would offer anyone reading this some advice go somewhere else to buy your car when you are making a big purchase like a car and the salesman is making commission both parties should feel good about it and as far as Im concerned these people are only interested in making money even if it through lies and intimidation. I purchased a new car. The sales process was average. A good price and customer service depends on the day, because immediately after buying, I attempted to purchase two more vehicles. Ultimately, I purcha good price and customer service depends on the day, because immediately after buying, I attempted to purchase two more vehicles. Ultimately, I purchased those two vehicles elsewhere. The one I did purchase had problems. I got the car one day, they kept it the next 8 days. Basically it was over their technicians head. Ford had to spoon-feed the testing process. Finally I took it to another Ford dealership for resolution. Also, I receive numerous periodic free incentives and communications from the service departments of the vehicles I purchased elsewhere. This dealership, maybe one full price oil change solicitation in eight months. More
