On a recent trip to Smoky Mountain National Park the starter on our motorhome failed and we were stranded in Newport Tennessee. We had a mobile RV tech confirm that the starter needed to be replaced. H starter on our motorhome failed and we were stranded in Newport Tennessee. We had a mobile RV tech confirm that the starter needed to be replaced. However, he could not replace the starter and suggested we find a Ford dealership. We called one dealership on Saturday afternoon who told us that they couldn't do the work due to the size of the motorhome. Early Monday morning we had the mobile tech help get the engine started and we drove to Rusty Wallace Ford in Dandridge. We talked with Courtney and she said that she wasn't sure if they could do the work, but she said she'd talk with Brian, one of their service techs who works on Ford trucks. Brian came out to our motorhome that we left idling on the street, looked under the coach and immediately said that he could do the work. He directed where we could park on their lot, ordered a starter and had the motorhome running by 1:30 and we were off to Elkmont campground! We were extremely impressed with their customer service.
