The situation involving this review is an unfortunate one, to say the least. Confusion ensued on the customer's arrival, as he indicated he wanted his vehicle serviced. His oil was changed per his request, but he informed us at delivery that he did not want an oil change. Instead, he advised, his wheel was making a ticking sound. We removed the charge for the customer on the oil change, but he insisted that because the oil was not synthetic, we had cost him money. We then changed his oil again, this time using synthetic. (Again, at no charge). We then removed all four wheels on the vehicle and spotted a pebble that was caught near the front disc brake. We removed the pebble and returned the wheels to the vehicle. The vehicle was then road-tested, and we confirmed the issue was resolved. The customer incurred NO charges for any of our services and was even offered a complete vehicle detail for his trouble. The customer expressed his complete satisfaction before leaving and once again the following day when we followed up with him. The customer's wife, who at no time visited the dealership, submitted this review while we were correcting the issues for the customer. During the same phone call where the customer confirmed all was well with the vehicle, the wife insisted her comments would remain, despite her husband's satisfaction. We wish to apologize once again for the initial confusion in this situation. We are proud to report that our Service team delivered above and beyond expectation in resolving this situation. We wish this customer (and his wife) all the best and a safe return to Connecticut!
