Would give 5 stars but for unpleasant exp with Financing Dept when I bought my CRV in 2021. The dealership earned 10 (!) stars for a maintenance visit with Service yesterday. Thomas Tran was top-notch; another Thomas was, as well. I was so relaxed I even started perusing the showroom, and found my next car! Btw, I used Honda Care once, during an emergency when I’d let my AAA membership lapse. Honda Care was horrendous! I had witnesses, one of whom has a Benz and a BMW; he was appalled. It took all day and part of it might be because it was clear my case was being handled by a child. (A child who was really unfamiliar with English, as well.) I felt for her and was not certain why she couldn’t or wouldn’t get an adult to help her, but I was on deadline and time is of the essence. It also was surprising that everyone involved, including the dispatcher, had to re-configure the nature of response: The battery had died (for about the 10th time; that’s been a recurring issue with the Pilot and the CRV I owned. They didn’t realize I was parked the “normal” way: facing the back of the garage. Therefore, their cables wouldn’t reach and they had to bring a flatbed truck to get the car out. They towed it less than a mile to an Auto Zone, where I eventually bought a new battery (the manager there was overly cautious, wanting to perform several tests to make sure the battery was the problem. I knew it was; it had been all the other times I was stranded). Oh, and the child kept wanting to charge me for the service. I don’t remember how I finally convinced her not to because the warranty still applied. This is a “first world problem,” but I’ve bought Hondas EVERY TIME EXCEPT once in my 52 years of driving. Huge fan, and I recommend to others. But you guys need to smooth out that battery issue. (I couldn’t even get one from the dealership because they said they were in back order by several months.) And make the poorly-named “Honda Care.” Customers who opt for that pay for it, and because there is competition out there, ensure it’s seamlessly efficient. And maybe make it local, using people who understand the geography/maps and layout of the area—like maybe a former Uber or Lyft driver? Please ask the Managemt to recognize Gerardo Cabral's excellent service. From the beginning to the end of the service process he was very cordial and paid attention to details. According to him, I excellent service. From the beginning to the end of the service process he was very cordial and paid attention to details. According to him, I was the first in line to purchase tires and 4 wheels alignment. He waited for the parts department to figure out the price, which took sometime, but Gerardo never complained and kept me engaged in conversation.
