Took vehicle in for installation of factory towing package costing in excess of $1000. Expensive--parts and labor double what buying parts from another dealer over the Internet would have cost. Received a call from service advisor two days later admitting that they failed to install one of the required parts even though they charged me hundreds of dollars for the part and its installation labor. The only explanantion offered was that their "guy" did not keep track of how many boxes of parts he was supposed to install. Now I am required to return for a second visit so they can install what they have already charged me for. No offer of compensation for my inconvenience, but at least they discovered the mistake before I did and did call. ON EDIT: Service Manager called in direct response to above review. Offered to refund the cost of the missing part and install it for free, and gave a free loaner car while the service was performed. Can't really ask for more than that, except perhaps that the error hadn't occurred in the first place, and that I didn't have to write a bad review first to get that response. SECOND EDIT: Well, it's been two weeks since we took the vehicle back for the installation of the missing part and STILL haven't been refunded the cost as promised. Have called several times, but STILL waiting. THIRD EDIT: Received phone call from the Internet sales manager in response to above edit. Finally received the promised refund the next day. More

This is my 3rd Honda and I will have to say this was the best car shopping experience I ever had. Not only was it memorable, but it was also pleasant. My husband and I were looking at buying a Honda Odyssey. We did all of our homework on line to find out what we wanted. Our first stop was at Gillman, I spent over 2 hours there and will never go back - the worst car buying experience I ever had. The last offer they made me, I looked at it in disgust and left. As soon as I walked into Russell and Smith, I was greeted and was shown the way to Nang's office who we had an appointment with(referral from a friend). We told Nang what we wanted and automatically, he was on the ball. He got the keys to several Honda Odysseys and we went out back to take a look at them. In less than 30 seconds, we were already in the van test driving it. After that, we sat down to discuss price. It only took Nang one offer and we accepted it. Not only was the price reasonable - it was better than what Gillman offered us. After all the paperwork, I walked out of the dealership with a new car in less than 2 hours - just in time for a celebration lunch. I would not hesitate to recommend Nang to friends, family or co-workers. Next time I buy a Honda, Nang is my MAN! More
We bought a CRV via the internet sales department with Jim. He followed up very quickly, gave a good price, and got us the car we wanted. Based on other prices that I was quoted from dealerships, Russell & Smith was very upfront on giving me a really good price. They give car salesmen a GOOD reputation--they were honest with me. Russell & Smith was able to get me through all of the paperwork and financial payment aspects quickly and professionally. I have had my Honda Accord LX for several days now; I'm happy with my purchase and believe I got a great deal. I would gladly do business with Russell & Smith in the future. More
The day I bought my civic from Russell & Smith Honda can be compared to going to Macy's and buying a new suit. The atmosphere was tranquil and inviting; my sales person (Brandon) was energetic and just as be compared to going to Macy's and buying a new suit. The atmosphere was tranquil and inviting; my sales person (Brandon) was energetic and just as excited about my new civic as I was. It was a no-frills experience. The week before I had visited Mike Calvert Toyota, and the word "circus" sums it up. But, @ Russell & Smith Honda, there was no pressure, no games -- just true professionalism. Mr. Reeves spent my two days of shopping, test driving, and wavering back and forth between two very different cars patiently supplying me with the facts and plusses of both without making me feel pressured to make a decision in the moment. And the great service did not stop after I drove my new Honda off the lot - Mr. Reeves followed up to make sure I was happy with my purchase and to see if I had any questions about my new CRV. I asked our salesman, Ron Reeves, to whom we should send a note if we wanted to share our thoughts on the process. Mr. Reeves provided your name. Our overall impression was WOW. WOW – Ron responded timely to our internet inquiry. WOW – Ron “gets it”. For the consumer that prefers to research and communicate using technology Ron is a breath of fresh air. He is straightforward and provided the data we requested in a clear manner. WOW – Ron was ready and waiting at appointment time. A vehicle was positioned in the lot in such a manner that it was easy to explore. He already had the key so there was zero down time. WOW – Ron listened to our wants and needs. Early in our conversations we stated that we did not want a moon roof. Unfortunately the EXL trim line comes with this as a standard feature. Ron didn’t spend any time trying to gloss over this. Instead, he helped us review the features of the less expensive trim line to see if it would be a good alternative. WOW – Ron carefully and intently listened to our many questions. We stumped him only once – briefly. Ron sought out the resources and got us a complete, accurate answer. WOW – Ron spent loads of time with us after all the paperwork was done. He explained all the important little things. He made sure we were completely comfortable with all controls and operations before leaving the dealership. WOW – And this is the biggest WOW of all – no surprises on the numbers. No ridiculous list of overpriced dealer accessories to inflate the price. Other dealers qualified their internet based offers with “there might be some additional options on your unit”. Ron provided specific, actionable information. When we got to the dealership things were EXACTLY as he said they would be. One might argue that nothing Mr. Reeves did was very remarkable – just the fundamentals of professional selling. He was: • Courteous • Respectful • Genuine • Fair • A good listener • Competent • Integrity based So, why haven’t we taken the time to write a letter like this for the other six new cars (Ford, Oldsmobile, Honda, Mitsubishi, 2 Toyotas) we bought over the last 20 years? Because NONE of those salesmen possessed more than two of the above qualities. The next time I plan to buy a new car, I will phone Ron Reeves to make an appointment. It will be the first time in my life that I look forward to the experience. I will also gladly refer family and friends to Ron. More

I bought my used 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid from Gilton a few weeks ago and I can honestly say that buying a car has never been so painless before. Gilton is a very calm and gentle salesman who does not put any pressure at all on you. We had spent the entire day going to different dealerships and other salesmen were always trying to sell me terrible cars and making me out to be an idiot. I felt quite abused and stressed before we decided to return to Gilton and the great people at Russell & Smith Honda. Buying my car took only a little more than an hour. I have never felt so relaxed like this before at a car dealership. I would reccommend Gilton Huggett to all my friends who would be interested in buying a decent car for a great price with zero stress. THANK YOU GILTON! More

They know their work very well. There was no pressure at all in buying a car from this dealership. They understand the customers needs and situation and offer you a great deal. This is the best dealership I've ever dealt with. If you want to buy a Honda, I would strongly recommend Russell&Smith dealership and ask for Peter.
