Excellent customer service I bought a 2015 CRV LX. The car has vibration problem and I asked for a return without any hard feelings. We ha I bought a dealer certified used Honda CRV from Russell & Smith. Sudip Patel was the salesperson helping me and my wife around 2 pm on Nov. 30. We had a pleasant time looking at the CRV and doing a test drive. We liked the car and started discussing how to purchase. We asked if we could use a credit card. He said no because since 911 there was a banking crisis and this was no longer allowed. We said that couldn’t be true so he went to the manager and came back with the story that a credit card couldn’t be used because it consists of getting a loan to pay off another loan, but that it was OK to use a credit card to pay off the full amount. Then we reviewed a preliminary offer for the vehicle that included installing cross bars on the roof rack. We left and checked another dealer and then came back later at about 6 pm to buy the CRV. At this time Sudip was gone and Andy Tran was helping me. I was told then that the policy is no credit cards allowed at all. So I said I would pay in full with a check. I asked to get it over with quickly and go home but still was required to wait around for the paper work until after 8 pm. However Jed stated we had to go over a bunch of options. I told him I did not want any of them. He explained how it was zero interest loans. I told him I wanted to leave early and would not be taking a loan. He insisted in showing me all the options and making me refuse them one by one. His colleague was in the room too, overseeing the process. My wife called to ask why it was taking so long. I told her I’d be home soon. I told them my wife was making dinner and I wanted to leave. The second sales person in the room said “She’ll have some more time to make dinner”. I just went along and tried to get it over with. They said the car would be ready tomorrow. As I left Andy told me he would call me tomorrow and let me know when it was ready. I was finished about 9 and went home. The next day Saturday Nov.28, there was no call. I called Sudip at 3 pm. and he said the car was ready. I asked why no call. He said he did call at 10 a.m. There is no record in my phone log. I asked him to deliver the car. My back was hurt from a lifting incident early in the day and I didn’t want to drive there a 3rd time to get the car. He said they couldn’t do that because customers buying pre-owned certified cars need to sign papers at the site. I asked why they didn’t have me sign it last night since they kept me so long? He didn’t answer that. He said it was too busy to make a delivery. I told him I would cancel the check and buy a car from another dealer. He said he would call back. Then I got a call from Andy that they would bring the car by at 7 pm. When they brought the car the roof rails were not installed. Andy told me the dealer was closed on Sunday so it couldn’t be done until Monday. I said I would bring the car back on Monday. Andy said he would call me Monday. Monday Nov. 30 came and there was no call by 3 pm. I called and emailed to the dealer and Andy. Andy called back and said he would be able to get me a loaner car at 5:30 and would have the rails installed. On Wednesday December 2, I was told my car is ready and went to pick it up. Since Monday Andy took good care of me and the loaner car was great. I gave a written letter to the used car sales manager on Dec. 1. He said he would present it to the Director. I was never contacted with a response. I also never received the customer survey that was promised when I paid for my car. More

Great Experience - Thanks Our last car purchase was in 2001 so there have been many changes in cars in that time. Selam was our sales person. She was patient and so helpful. She listened to what we wanted and gave use various options. After completing the purchase of the car we chose she made sure we understood many of the basic new computer functions our new car had. It was a real pleasure to work with Selam. Warranties and financing options were explained and it was a pleasant experience. From the first hello until the drive out everyone took the time to make this a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Russell and Smith Honda. More

After being greeted by Jack Carney, I was introduced to Stevon who was very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. Amanda, too, was confident, intellegent, and didn't waste any time with the financing. Overall, I feel that Russel & Smith worked with me to get the price of the automobile down to near my goal price, helped find a lender with a lower APR, and I would be happy to do business with them again. I personally have a Honda and grew up in a household owning many Honda over the years, so it was only natural to go out a get a new Honda for her. We first went to another "well known" Honda dealership and had a nasty experience there dealing with their sales manager (The sales person there was great but the sales manager he had to work with was just horrendous and lacked people skills with no interest in building relationships). I left that dealership and went to the next closer Honda dealership on my google maps. It was Honda Russell and Smith. I never wrote a review online before but was compelled this time to express my gratitude to the Russell and Smith and more specifically to the AWESOME person there Selam! She is a breath of fresh air, HONEST, courteous and gentle speaking. My wife felt so good with her and we both felt very comfortable and open with our dealings with her. I would like to thank the dealership GM Dino for hiring talented people just like Selam as they are truly the face of the company. I would ABSOLUTELY go back there to buy another vehicle and would recommend this dealership and Selam to all my friends and family. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We are enjoying our new HONDA CR-V. More

I did a lot of research, educating myself on how to get the best deal possible so I was well armed when I got to Russell and Smith. I vowed I would not be taken advantage of! Stevon Carr was the greatest! He made selecting and purchasing my new Honda Accord seamless and easy. I recommend him highly. We worked together to come up with the best price possible (other dealerships were unable to match their prices!) and I drove out that night in a brand new Honda Accord! Love the car, love the dealership, love the employees. This is my third car to purchase from them and I will go back to them again if needed. It was a wonderful experience and I have recommended friends and family ask for Stevon when they go. More
