My buying experience was excellent because of Michael Singleton. We ordered the vehicle June 1 and Michael told me it would be 3 months before it was here. It was here in 6 weeks. Was also told (and it said on the website) it only had 53k miles. Only to get there and the truck actually has 69k miles (almost 20k more than they said) and it was still on the shop on the rack, and it was complely trashed! Didnt even make it to detail yet, couldnt even test drive it. Was told by the salesman it wouldn't be ready for 4 or 5 more days. I drove 8 hours to drive it and possibly buy it. DONT SHOP HERE! More
The collision center has had my 4Runner for over a month and my "advisor" was absent for most all of it. I waited a month before asking for status updates and was assured it would be done and then told it w and my "advisor" was absent for most all of it. I waited a month before asking for status updates and was assured it would be done and then told it would be longer. I was told they just needed to clean it up and it would be done a couple weeks ago. I asked my advisor if the tint had been completed. Nope. Forgot about it. I finally visited the shop Tuesday and one of the new advisors was told to go outside and find out what needed to be done because the one "working" my case was once again absent. The hood protector was not installed, the truck was filthy and the advisor said it still needed a cut and buff. Same advisor called later that day to let me know I was all set for pick up. Showed up at lunch the next day and the hood protector was installed but interior was untouched and I could not see the exterior very well from the rain. I waited at least a half hour for them to only wipe the seats off, paid and left. I took a look at it this morning after it dried off and noticed there was absolutely no way anyone did a cut and buff on the truck since the windshield was installed because there is a clear 3-4 inch section that goes the entire length of the windshield with major tape residue from leaving the masking take on for too long. I called and spoke with the manager and took it back for them to complete their job once and for all. He saw everything I mentioned and agreed his people obviously did not do what they said they did. No way a cut and buff was done and interior was not cleaned after two tries. I left it there and was told it would be ready tomorrow. We will see. Ways to improve? Keep your customers updated, give truthful updates, implement some sort a quality checks to make sure jobs are truly completed prior to telling the customer to pick up their vehicle and wasting their time. I am also in the market for a new Tahoe so I decided to walk the lot while waiting on my ride. I made eye contact with three different sales men on golf carts while walking from one end of the lot to the other looking at Tahoes. No one said a word to me, even as I was walking towards them. They drove away. I will find a new Tahoe somewhere else. More
