Terrible service to customers We purchased a used vehicle from Russ Darrow and at the time of purchase got the extended warranty and service plan. A few weeks later we decided th We purchased a used vehicle from Russ Darrow and at the time of purchase got the extended warranty and service plan. A few weeks later we decided that the extended warranty and service plan were not necessary and wanted to cancel the contract. We were well within the 60 day time frame that we had to cancel the plan, so it should have been very easy. We live over an hour away from the dealership, so we called and asked for the dealership to mail the cancellation form. We spoke with Jason and Jim in the finance department several times, never getting confirmation that a piece of paper was mailed. Both Jason and Jim would tell us that they would call back the next day with confirmation that the form was mailed, however we never received a phone call from either of them. We stayed professional on the phone during our conversations, and on the last phone call we got hung up on. We sent a complaint the BBB, stating that all we wanted was the cancellation form. Someone from corporate got us the form within the next 24 hours. There is no reason that we had to go through so much trouble to cancel a contract within the appropriate time limits. We are very dissatisfied with the way we were treated from Russ Darrow. We will not be purchasing any vehicles in the future from this dealership. More

How much a customer worth? We just leased our second, and last vehicle from this dealership. At the time we finalized the new lease deal, the sales manager Patrick agreed to c We just leased our second, and last vehicle from this dealership. At the time we finalized the new lease deal, the sales manager Patrick agreed to cover our over-mileage charges ($500) from our previous lease. The vehicle we wanted wasn't available at this dealership, but was at another lot, so we made an appointment with our salesman for the following week to pick up the new car, and complete the paperwork. We returned at the time of our appointment, but our sales person was tied up with another customer, so they had another sales guy write up the deal. All was great until we got the over-mileage invoice from the finance company. I returned to dealership on a Friday, 4/14/17, to get this resolved. I spoke to original salesman we made the deal with, and he remembered that the over-mileage was to be covered. The manager did not remember, and said they would have to send out for the original paperwork because it was no longer at the dealership. I was told I would receive a call on Monday, 4/17/17. I did not receive any calls the following week, so I made the drive back to dealership to find the manager on vacation, and no one knew anything about it. The sales manager that was there said he would look in to our situation, and get back to me. He did, and because it was not written into the original contract, they would not cover it. I take some responsibility for not making sure this was written into the contract, but I think if my appointment was honored, and the original salesman wrote up the deal, this would not have happened. It didn’t matter to these “managers” that their salesman remembered this as part of the deal, so we got punished for them not honoring an appointment with a sales person. In the mind of Russ Darrow Mazda, a customer is not worth $500. More
