Dishonesty at it's best! My husband and I have been researching the KIA Rio. I found an ad on the internet that advertised this vehicle for $166 per month. I called first to My husband and I have been researching the KIA Rio. I found an ad on the internet that advertised this vehicle for $166 per month. I called first to verify the information in the ad, then we drove 60 miles to buy a new car. We knew exactly what vehicle we wanted and what we were willing to pay. The saleswoman was very friendly, she didn't try to convince us to look at anything else. However, when she came back with the numbers it listed a payment of over double the advertised payment. She said our credit probably isn't where we think it's at. So I asked to see the credit report. She brought back a manager who offered to try to get the payments closer to our number. We asked them about the overall differences between the ad price and what they were saying the car cost. The tag hanging from the car mirror, which was removed quickly, was even lower than what they were telling us. Apparently that price didn't reflect all the "upgrades" that are standard at their dealership. Eventually, the GM came over and told us he would take off the extra charges and try to get our payments closer to what we wanted. He also gave us the credit reports I had asked for. When they gave them to us they clarified that there was nothing wrong with our credit. Then we asked about the $1000 gift card offered in the ad with a trade in, our purchase wouldn't qualify. After over 2 hours we had enough dishonesty and decided to leave without a new car. After reading other reviews on here, I'm glad we did! We fully intended to buy a new car today but we felt the sales and advertising tactics used at Russ Darrow KIA were unethical. More

I called the dearlership and asked nicly if i could return or exchange for a lower cost model. I was told no. So now yes i have a very nice car but I i cant make the payments. Expecilly when i went in looking for a car that was $13,000 cheaper then the one that i went home with. I am going to call the bank that i got the loan through and maybe they can help. More

Emily was absolutely wonderful and it was a pleasure to meet her. She had the cars ready and warming up for us when we pulled in as I had called ahead of time. I was interested in a Forte Koupe. She did research ahead of time and was clearly very knowledgeable about the Kia product. We came a far distance and had a few other car brands we wanted to look at. Well I ended up falling in love with a little Mini Cooper Coupe..that being said, I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle from this dealership as they did everything right. Made us feel at home and comfortable offered a fair deal for my trade in...I just found a car that I liked just a little bit more than the Koupe. Even the sales manager made time to introduce himself and sit down to talk with us..overall a VERY pleasant experience. Thanks so much, Margie Bauer More
Drove 70 miles to buy a specific new vehicle and was told to come back the next day by Sales Manager because he said I was not serious and It was closing time! (6PM) Who in their right mind would insult some to come back the next day by Sales Manager because he said I was not serious and It was closing time!
