I was told I need an appointment to replace a recall switch. When I arrived fir the service, I was told they only needed the VIN, then would order the part. I drove over there, so they could get the VIN switch. When I arrived fir the service, I was told they only needed the VIN, then would order the part. I drove over there, so they could get the VIN? That makes no sense to me. I would have been really, very upset had I driven an hour to get there. The part was ordered and arrived a couple of days later. The part has been replaced. But having to show up, with an appointment, just for them to get the VIN, makes absolutely no sense. That's not customer service, that's customer irritation. More
