My experience Dan Powell and Jim were great and did a fantastic job. Larry, on the other hand was very high pressure and some what belligerent all because I decide Dan Powell and Jim were great and did a fantastic job. He also did the closing and was belligerent at the start, but settled down after awhile. Larry is whyI hate the car buying experience. Still too much high pressure. Also the reason Russ Darrow doesn’t get my service work. I always feel I am being ripped off. Take it for what it’s worth. More

Mixed results The salesman was pretty knowledgeable and very pleasant. The “negotiating” process struck me as hugely old-fashioned and much more time consuming tha The salesman was pretty knowledgeable and very pleasant. The “negotiating” process struck me as hugely old-fashioned and much more time consuming than it had to be - Kyle had to shuttle 20 feet back and forth between me and the desk staff probably 20 times, basically one question at a time. Not very efficient and ate a lot of time. Delivery was a mixed bag - I had them mount running boards before I took the truck out, which ended up extending the contract signing and delivery process to well over three hours. Driving home I noticed that the “Service 4WD” light was on, which nobody apparently noticed? Called Kyle, he had service call me the next day. That’s where I got a little unhappy - dealer owed me two things (bed liner and cover), plus the vehicle had a defect condition. I wanted to get all of that done in one trip - not unreasonable I thought. Also, given that I had just taken a $50K truck off the lot hours earlier, I thought getting a loaner while they had mine was not unreasonable. Once I talked to service about scheduling, I found out that the earliest I could get in was more than 10 days out because all of their loaners were spoken for because of the air show. With a full used car lot sitting on the same lot there was nothing to use as a loaner? Maybe I’m expecting too much, but that never happened to me with any of the previous 10 new trucks I’ve owned. Finally - I did get the survey that got sent out, the one where all 9s and 10s were requested. I gave a lot of them, but I made all of these comments and subtractions on that survey. That was 7 days ago. Since I haven’t heard a word from anyone at the dealer or anywhere else, I’m going to have to presume that the survey is less important than I was led to believe. Conclusion - good people, good price, good product (I love my truck), some customer service processes that could really bear some additional scrutiny. More

Unexpected outcome, two cars instead of one We originally called to inquire about lease opportunity on a specific Jeep compass . Dan arranged to have the car waiting for us as well as the Grand We originally called to inquire about lease opportunity on a specific Jeep compass . Dan arranged to have the car waiting for us as well as the Grand Cherokee. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. After test driving both vehicles we decided to lease the Compass and buy the Grand Cherokee. We are very happy and will recommend Dan and Russ Darrow Chrysler Jeep to all our friends.
