It is not a mandatory state fee on Wisconsin vehicles. Also do not pay for any extras like fabric protection, VIN etch etc... it is a scam and you are being grossly overcharged for the vehicle. More

Stay away from this dealership at all costs This was the worst car buying experience ever. My wife and I wanted to purchase a mini van for our growing family. Negotiated a monthly payment at $4 This was the worst car buying experience ever. My wife and I wanted to purchase a mini van for our growing family. Negotiated a monthly payment at $469 at 72 months. Told them I would buy the van at $460 at 72 months and they agreed to the deal. We have a newborn child and I was out of the f & I guys office trying to calm a crying child as he was going over some of the info with my wife. When we got home I was looking over the paperwork and noticed they had switched the length of payment from 72 months to 75 months. This was never explained to us and my wife just signed the contact trusting that it was the terms agreed to previously. I called and talked to the salesman and he was under the assumption it was supposed to be at 72 months also. After I got off the phone I received a call from the sales manager Ryan. He basically told me the van was mine and there was nothing they were going to do even tough this was not explained properly to us. He also admitted fault in the matter. I treated giving then one's on there survey from Chrysler, contacting the attorney general, and better business bureau and Ryan told me to do what I had to do. They knowing did this and don't care. They actually charged us $732 more then if we would have bought the van at the original offer of $469 at 72 months. Two lessons learned in this. Always look over the bill of sale before signing anything and never buy another vehicle from Russ Darrow. I hope people read this before the purchase a car from this dealership. I would hate to have someone go through what we have. What was supposed to be a great experience has turned into a nightmare. More

I showed up to buy a minivan, was told I qualified, picked out a van, gave manager Ryan a check for $3000 (downpayment), took the van home. Ryan told me I would do all the signing of the paperwork the picked out a van, gave manager Ryan a check for $3000 (downpayment), took the van home. Ryan told me I would do all the signing of the paperwork the next day because the creditor we were dealing with was closing. He also said he wouldn't deposit my check until the paperwork was signed. Ryan called me the next day (a friday) and informed me that he had jumped the gun and I would need to bring the van back (I didn't qualilfy afterall). Of course I was upset and I told him I would be there within 20 mins. About 10 minutes later I arrived at the dealership and was told that Ryan had just left for vacation (no, I'm not kidding). At that point I started dealing with Jason (another manager) and I told him I wanted my $3000 check back since I was returning the van. He informed me that the check had already been taken to the bank (before any paperwork had been signed and after Ryan told me it wouldn't be cashed). Sure enough, the check cleared that night. On Monday morning (the next business day) I brought the proof from my bank that it had cleared (as Jason requested) and I was told I could get my check with a few hours. That didn't happen. I had to call over and over again all day long to get him on the phone and find out when I would be getting my money back. They had my $3000 and I had NO vehicle. I didn't get the check back until later that evening, so I wasn't able to get it deposited in my bank until Tuesday. Also in regards to Ryan...He was very unprofessional, used profanity, including the "F word", constantly (I think he thought he was being funny or amusing). An example : When I told him my current vehicle had broken down on a cold winter day and left me stranded, his reply was, "Well your van is a D*xx"...again, that's just one example. He was ridiculous to the point that I was embarrassed for him. One positive note : My salesperson was Bob and he was very friendly and professional. I now have a 2011 Minivan that I love and I did NOT purchase it at Russ Darrow :) More

I went to return my leased Town and Country to the Russ Darrow dealership. I called ahead to make an appointment. When I got there, the agent I was suppose to deal with had decided to take a long weekend Darrow dealership. I called ahead to make an appointment. When I got there, the agent I was suppose to deal with had decided to take a long weekend, and wasn't in the office that day. No of the other agents in the office could handle a lease return. I had to come back another day to turn in a vehicle I did not want anymore. When I came back the next time I was told that I had to continue to carry insurance on the vehicle since the dealership never takes possession of the car, it is mine until Chrylser comes to pick it up which will be in 2 to 4 weeks, and I that I should call and check in to see when it is actually picked up. I had already made arragements to cancel my insurance as I had acutally left the TC there on my first visit. Then they wanted to know why I was not going to do business with them on my next purchase... More
