She knew we were from out of town and helped us get a solution. While she worked with us she helped a number of your other customers and always with a friendly, positive, upbeat attitude. This kind of employee is pure gold for any company. The only additional comment is I understand why you charge 3% more to use a credit card. It is not a new concept. However, it is a negative concept and your staff and deakership come across as negative trying to explain it. Why not make it a positive experience. Set your pricing up that the price includes that cost if someone uses a credit card. But, offer the customer a DISCOUNT to pay in cash, check, debit card etc. then you turn a negative into a positive by offering the customer an option to pay less if they use cash, check or debit card. I bought a minivan from Russ Darrow in September of 2024. At first, the sales and service seemed good. However, it took a few weeks to get the van properly cleaned. And the van had to be cleaned TWICE because they didn’t do a very good job the first time. It was November before I got the 8th seat that should’ve been in the van from the start. And the key sense feature still does not work correctly, and it’s the middle of February! I’ve talked numerous times with the sales rep, Bob Phillips, who always assured me it would be fixed. He’s taken the van into the shop to have it looked at a few times. Each time dropping off a loaner vehicle that I need to put gas in before I can go anywhere other than the nearest gas station. And he doesn’t bother to replace the gas he’s used driving my vehicle round-trip from Janesville to Madison. The techs at the dealership said there is a problem with the radio, which is the cause of the Key Sense issue, and the radio needs to be replaced. The sales rep told me that a new radio would be ordered to correct it, but it’s becoming apparent that it has not. This has been going on since the purchase at the beginning of September! And now, Bob is telling me that the keysense feature is working exactly as it should, although nothing has been done to address the issue. Then Drake Lallas responds to posts to discuss. When I provided my contact info, he responded, “Good morning, Shawn , I am not the General Manager of our CDJR store … I did forward your email to the management team as well as Mr. Phillips,” and nothing ever happens.
