First Timer Mostly Satisfied I purchased my XC60 T8 a month ago from this dealership. A couple of days later the check engine light came on, so I dropped by to have it checked. I I purchased my XC60 T8 a month ago from this dealership. A couple of days later the check engine light came on, so I dropped by to have it checked. I was pointedly asked if I had an appointment, which told me this is a busy service center and appointments are important. But the sales person who sold me the car interceded for me and they cleared the light and I went on my way. So a month later the check engine light came on again, and I called to make my appointment. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it took a long time getting through to the service department to make the required appointment. When I called the Volvo dealer switchboard operator answered and transferred me to service where it rang until it switched me back to the operator who transferred me back to service where it rang until the main Rusnak switchboard answered and sent me back to the Volvo switchboard and then ran through the whole process again. Finally, the Rusnak switchboard put me on hold while she got someone who would agree to answer the phone in service. After that, the service was great. I showed up at the appointed time, was greeted by Mark who was friendly and efficient. They kept the car for a couple of hours, figured out that there is a glitch that Volvo is working on and what I could do to avoid triggering the check engine light. The car was washed and I picked it up 3 hours after dropping it off. I appreciated the shuttle service. More

No power, no brakes in the middle of the freeway I brought my Volvo xc60 in because it had shut off while i was driving it 3 times in two days. After keeping it for 5 days Rusnak Volvo service found I brought my Volvo xc60 in because it had shut off while i was driving it 3 times in two days. After keeping it for 5 days Rusnak Volvo service found nothing wrong with it and told me they tested it and could find nothing wrong with it and to come pick it up. They assured me the car was safe to drive. I reluctantly picked up the car but felt reassured by what they told me- nothing is wrong. I took the car and drove to work and as I was driving down the 134 west, 4 lanes from the shoulder, the car shut off and would not turn back on. No brakes, no power steering, no flashers, nothing. Luckily i made it to the shoulder safely. I called my service contact Anthony and left him a voicemail. He called back and apologized and said to bring the car back. He called back a few minutes later and asked me if there was gas in the car. As if that was the reason the car shut off? Not that there was an ongoing issue they couldn't figure out. And yes there was gas in the car. After waiting for AAA for two hours with a CHP officer on the shoulder i finally had the car back to Rusnak. After 5 minutes they figured out what was wrong with the car. ACTUALLY my tow truck driver figured out what was wrong. They wanted to fix the broken connection they somehow didnt discover during the 5 days they had my car and send me on my way again. I refused and said i wanted the car tested further and to give me a loaner. They obliged. There is absolutely no understanding on their end on how dangerous this situation could have become. I specifically bought my car at Rusnak because it is a female owned business and i thought service would be different. I believe i was treated so flippantly because they perceived me to be an easy customer who would go along with whatever i was told. More
