Runde Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep responded

To clarify, we (Runde Auto Group) issued the original payoff right after the customer purchased their new vehicle. The confusion started when the customer’s bank delayed cashing the check for some reason. We received a different answer from each person each time we called the bank trying to verify if they had received the check or not. We could only assume that the check had been lost. We then had another check cut for the full payoff and sent it overnight to this bank. We contacted the bank and let them know that a stop payment had been put on the first payoff check we had sent. We then forwarded the tracking information on the new check with the screenshot of the bank's confirmation that they received the new check to our customer. Our Sales Manager stayed on top of the situation with the customer’s bank and kept in contact with the customer when trying to straighten this out. Bottom line, we feel we did everything correctly on our end. We are sorry for any confusion and the delays that were caused by the bank check and of course any to William, our customer.
