Brought my 2005 Prius in for 90k checkup and service. Was told it would take about 1.5 hous plus recall work .75 hour. I waited more than 3 hours, no one explained what was taking so long or updated me Was told it would take about 1.5 hous plus recall work .75 hour. I waited more than 3 hours, no one explained what was taking so long or updated me on anything. Finally walked around and found my car in the parking lot. I don;t know how long it had been there. Talked to the casheir and she said "just finished, completing paperworrk". About 5 minutes later person went over paperwork and she said "of course you know about the water pump" I had no idea what she was talking about, no one talked to me about a a water pump or anything else for that matter. I don't think any work was done on the pump. She told me it was leaking. She also said the reason it took longer was there was an alignment needed (up to now no one mentioned that either). Still need water pump fixed. 2 1/4 hours estimate time turned int 3 1/2 and all the work was not done. Not informed of anything until I initiated conversations and getting ready to pay. More
I came in on-the-fly for a situation that req'd service and I did not have an appt. Kevin was so friendly as well as optimistic that he could help me for a reasonable price. He even got on a piece of plastic to put down, so he could look under my car on his back as to give me the most accurate estimate possible. He quoted me a reasonable price to fix my splash guard that had come down on one side of my undercarriage, he let me know what services were due when I was able, and he quoted me a reasonable time for which I had to wait for my car to be fixed. He really was awesome and I feel he didn't try to jack the price up unneccessarily nor did he try to push me toward any more services, yet let me know what was due. I felt like Kevin truly cared. Linda was very responsive and answered my questions clearly. This has not always been my experience but Linda did an excellent job and was very friendly. Not all your service people are friendly. My brakes were making a terrible noise but only if the ABS light and brake light were off. If these lights were on the brakes worked fine. Kong seemed to know what it was right away. I left my office today and found my car battery totally dead. The friendly team at Rudy Luther had my car towed across town to their shop, battery replaced and car washed in less than 2.5 hours. I was greeted promptly and my service order was taken. I chose to wait in the lounge as I was only there for and oil change so I watched TV and had coffee while my car was serviced. I visited for a recall. The valet men were extremely pleasant. Really nice to have gotten my car for me when it was ready and brought inside. Code said, "This is what we do!". However, on the sales floor, it took 20 minutes for somebody to finally approach while I kept walking and getting in a few cars I was interested in. And nobody had anything to do......not even the receptionist asked if I needed help. Makes me think twice about doing business here. More
