We were very pleased with the service and quality of the personnel at Rudy Luther Toyota. Lon Blumenberg is a knowledgeable and intelligent salesperson who was well versed in the Toyota Rav 4 characteristics--he was not pushy which we really appreciate in a salesperson. The used car manager, Don Schumaker, was very fair with us regarding our trade in value, a key element in our final decision. Scott Smith, the Finance Manager, was very friendly and helpful in securing excellent Toyota financing and walking us through all the paperwork and explaing what we were executing. The "certified warranty" up to 100,000 miles was also a bigfactor in our final decision. We love the vehicle thus far (1 week) and hope to have years of hassle free driving. More
My experiance buying a nearly new (two year old) vehicle was informative and friendly. My experiance was both enjoyable and confidant I was certain that I was given all details of this car and nearly one mo was informative and friendly. My experiance was both enjoyable and confidant I was certain that I was given all details of this car and nearly one month later I can say they still stand by this sale and by myself as a customer. They have followed through to assure my post sale satisfaction. More
Just bought a 2009 camry XLE from here and loved the experience. The salesman, Theo is great, made the process easy and transparent. My best car buying experience ever. Will return her for my next car a experience. The salesman, Theo is great, made the process easy and transparent. My best car buying experience ever. Boris K. was patient, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the Toyota Carolla I was interested in. He spent a good deal of time explaining all the packages that were available and their cost. He was regarding the Toyota Carolla I was interested in. He spent a good deal of time explaining all the packages that were available and their cost. He was straight forward about all the advantages of buying a Toyota Carolla but not pushy. I really liked his manners and sense of humour. I love the car! More
Started asking about the 2012 Camry in March. Sweet Lou contacted me several times throughout the year with updates pertaining to the launch. Once the launch date was announced, Lou found the car I sought contacted me several times throughout the year with updates pertaining to the launch. Once the launch date was announced, Lou found the car I sought and arranged for me to put a down payment on it to ensure that the car I sought was available post haste. Miranda was prompt and expedient in the Finance Dept. Sweet Lou provided me with outstanding training on my advanced new rod. Lou's knowledge of the newly designed Camry was spectacular. More
Sales rep was very friendly and knowledgable. The time it took to get a trade in price was three to four times longer than another dealer we visited over the past two days. It came down to two choices. Toyot took to get a trade in price was three to four times longer than another dealer we visited over the past two days. It came down to two choices. Toyota or Honda. We wanted to buy new as we just retired. The trade in offered from Luther Toyota was 2 k off the mark from others quoted. The highest trade in values was from a GM dealer who, without a test drive took a look at the mileage and exterior and offered us 16,100.00 compared to Luther at 12,225. On an SUV costing 28,589.00 The lowest other trade in was 13,355 on a car costing only 24,800.00. We were ready to go with the 33,889.00 car at Luther but was insulted by the trade in offered and we bought our 2007 Rave 4 from Luther. Besides spending the most time with Luther Toyota. My wife did not want to go back to Luther and I convinced her to give Luther a shot. Boy was I wrong and was she upset that we spent all that time to be insulted and disappointed. Now we are considering a car we eliminated after seeing the Venza as she will not return to a Luther Dealer and I can't blame her one bit. We will be looking at Morries or an independent dealer. So, so disappointing. As a retired VP of a fortune 500 company in Support Services I suggest Luther spend some time on the customer experience. Eliminate a lot of easier customer time and look at the competition especially on trade in value. Toyota was to have held their trade in value and this may be true If your not dealing with a Toyota dealer. We both had expected to have gotten at least close to where the others were on trade in but never dreamed it would be so far off. Luther lost a sale and Toyota lost a customer. I had, two Toyota products in my garage and now will be down to my pick up only. General motors here we come. More
salesman was good in early part of sale , but towards end, when waiting to beable to drive car off lot---they were tied up with another customer --so had to wait for 15 min which was not a positive end to end, when waiting to beable to drive car off lot---they were tied up with another customer --so had to wait for 15 min which was not a positive end to the sales process. I was the first customer, would think I would get the preferred treatment, responsiveness before the next customer. Accessories person(post sale) - was nice but slightly disorganized --I made a change to accessories being added -- she calculated cost wrong, took credit card # down wrong and booked appt for dropping car off /getting rental car at wrong time of day (think she was trying to look too -- efficient to point she was inefficient) More
9/20/11 - We had an idea of what we wanted, and Nettie took it from there. Very personable, very knowledgable, and worked with us from beginning to end. She even took the time to set up Blue Tooth and Sa took it from there. Very personable, very knowledgable, and worked with us from beginning to end. She even took the time to set up Blue Tooth and Satellite Radio which was appreciated. She was a joy to work with and we left with the new car we were looking for. More
Wrote an email about a 2010 model car, recieved back a form email about a different car. I wrote Kurt Folstad again explaining the email was clearly in error only to get another incorrect form email that form email about a different car. I wrote Kurt Folstad again explaining the email was clearly in error only to get another incorrect form email that shows he clearly did not read the first, or second, email. Then, daily for the past few days I've been getting further form emails asking me to "come on in and test drive" and various other things -- all of which I respond to explaining their email is clearly in error. If they care this little about their customers who have money burning a hole in their pocket to buy before the sale, how much are they going to care about you after the sale? There are plenty of dealerships with salesmen who actually read your email and care about your needs... no need to even try this one. More
