Everyone was friendly and fun including my first interaction at the receoption desk. The vehilce I was interesting in was prepped and waiting for me to test drive. The process was efficient, fast and I was impressed with the over all look of the dealership. Comfortable and friendly. I am very happy with my RAV4 and would / have already recommended this dealership. More
Service & Doug were great as usual. Getting the appt. was a real pain. Dates were screwed up and if I Hadn't checked my email would have been off by a week. Still would go here for sure. was a real pain. Dates were screwed up and if I Hadn't checked my email would have been off by a week. Still would go here for sure. More
I made the service appointment online after my car's electrical system suddenly began displaying incorrect information for several days ( showing all the taillights were out, when they weren't) and the electrical system suddenly began displaying incorrect information for several days ( showing all the taillights were out, when they weren't) and the check engine light went on. Naturally, when I arrived at the service bay, everything was working just fine. Mark Perra has been the service advisor on my car for most, if not all, of the time I've owned it. (It's a 1998 that I bought from you in 1999!) Looking at the situation, Mark told me that in all probablilty, a short had developed somewhere in the system and that I could expect this problem to happen again, eventually not going away, at which time we could get it fixed. He checked over my maintenence record and we decided to just change the oil and run it through the car wash. While I waited, I relaxed in your very comfortable lounge and had a cup of coffee. When Mark came to tell me my car was ready, he also gave me a head's-up on some maintenence work that we should do in the spring, based on a test drive taken by the service personnel. As always, I asked him if I should be thinking about a new car ( mine has 203,000 miles) and he reassured me that my car is running just fine and that the work that needs to be done is pretty routine for a car of its age and mileage. So, I went home a happy, satisfied customer, confident that my car will continue to meet my needs and expectations for a long time to come. I just love this car and I really appreciate the sense of continuity that I get from being able to rely on Rudy Luther and Mark Parra to give me sound advice and excellent service. More
We bought a new 2012 Corolla in May of 2012. Very happy with the experience. At work, we had a company Avalon, and the fellow who takes it home every night wasn't happy where he was having it serviced. R with the experience. At work, we had a company Avalon, and the fellow who takes it home every night wasn't happy where he was having it serviced. Rudy Luther Toyota is on my side of town, so I brought in the company car. The amount charged was a fraction of the estimate I signed, and it was returned to me earlier than expected, very nice, since I was waiting. I've found this to be typical of my experiences at the dealer, and at Luther dealers where I've bought other cars. More
We contacted Rudy Luther Toyota regarding a vehicle that we found on their website, and were given Josh as our salesman. From the very beginning we explained to him that our daughter who lives out of state we found on their website, and were given Josh as our salesman. From the very beginning we explained to him that our daughter who lives out of state was purchasing the car, although we would be picking it up for her and transporting it to her. He didn't explain to us ahead of time that it was IMPOSSIBLE to purchase and pick up the vehicle that day without her physically being there to sign for the title and other paperwork. (Other than having it Fed Ex'd, which obviously couldn't be done the same day. We drove 3+ hours to get to the dealership.) We understand that it was not his rule, so that was not the issue, but it would have been nice to be informed of this ahead of time since we were planning on bringing it home that day. When we tried to ask questions as to different possible options, he was very rude and cocky in stating that it just wasn't going to work and all the reasons why it wasn't going to work without her physically being there. It was very frustrating, and not the Customer Service that we were expecting from Luther Toyota (we had heard great things from friends who had purchased a vehicle there). We decided that we had had enough of Josh's cockiness and rudeness, and asked for a new salesman. We were given Matt and he was much more professional, and we made the purchase. Another disappointment in Josh was that he told us that he would call us back the evening before we drove up to purchase the car. I wanted to put security money down to make sure that it would not get sold before we got there, but he said that it wasn't necessary. When he didn't return our phone call, I called him at 7:30 pm on a Friday evening to the phone number that he had given me. When he answered, I could tell that he wasn't real thrilled that I had called, and he said that he wasn't at work (I didn't realize that the dealership was closed on Friday evenings, but since he hadn't returned my phone call like he said he would, I was just following up to make sure that the vehicle was still available before we drove 3+ hours up there in the morning.) I reminded him who I was, and which vehicle we wanted, and that I was just calling to make sure that he knew that we definitely wanted the car and that we'd be coming in the morning to get it, and again asked about making a deposit to hold it until we got there. He just said he'd call me in the morning around 9 am, even though it was obviously a couple hours after the time we were planning on leaving. At 6:30am, the following morning(AFTER I had responded to his original email, plus had told him over the phone that we wanted the vehicle), I got the following email from him: Hello Lisa. I am following up to make sure that the email I sent you yesterday was received. With certain providers, my e-mails never arrive at their destination and I want to make sure mine made it through to you as they do often end up in your SPAM folder. Of course, if you need more time to review the Camry information I sent, just let me know. You are also welcome to call me anytime directly at to discuss any options. Is there a best time of the day to reach you and a number you prefer to be called at? Thank you for giving Rudy Luther Toyota and me the opportunity to help and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Josh Sternau Sales Consultant Rudy Luther Toyota/Scion Work: 763.222.2081 Cell: 763.234.3202 Email: joshua.sternau@rudyluthertoyota.com After receiving this email it totally made us feel like a Number, rather than a valued customer. It also showed that he didn't really put it together that I had already told him that we wanted the vehicle, and was willing to put a deposit on it. It also makes it sound like it wouldn't be a problem for me to get in touch with him at the number that he gave me, so we didn't feel like he should have brushed me off so quickly when I called him at 7:30pm just to verify that the vehicle was still available. We do understand that the law is the law regarding signing the title, etc., and it would not have been an issue if we had known it ahead of time, and also if we hadn't been dealt with the way we were by Josh. Hopefully it was an isolated incidence. I do believe that professionalism and customer service go a long way in repeat customers, and if we had only dealt with Josh I can guarantee that we would not have purchased the vehicle, nor would we consider Luther Toyota for future purchases. Aside from that, we were very impressed with the facility, the people and service we received while making the transaction and we would consider purchasing another vehicle from Rudy Luther Toyota in the future. I came to Rudy Luther Toyota after totaling my Ford Focus in a head on collision. I was very upset and stressed about having to purchase another car when I was not expecting the added expense. I initially de in a head on collision. I was very upset and stressed about having to purchase another car when I was not expecting the added expense. I initially decided on a Toyota after I was told by friends and family that they are excellent and reliable vehicles. After discussing my accident with Josh on the phone, he found a few vehicles within my price range that he felt fit my lifestyle and current living situation. Josh had a ton of information about each vehicle and listed the features that he felt were the most beneficial for me personally. It was a completely stress-free process and I honestly could not have asked for better service from Josh or any one else on the Rudy Luther team. I was not excited about purchasing a new vehicle at the start, but left the dealership feeling content. Everybody was honest and helpful!!! I would recommend this dealership to everyone I know and will continue to use Rudy Luther for all my service, sales, and finance needs in the future. Thank you Josh Sternau and the Rudy Luther team :) More
Your employees have been there for a long time, which speaks volumes about management, are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Terry, who was my service representative, showed and explained to me speaks volumes about management, are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Terry, who was my service representative, showed and explained to me why I needed to replace my tires. Also, the space you have created for customers waiting is exceptional. I bought my first Camry for $4,000 out of the newspaper. Your salesman at the time (@1999), told me he couldn't beat the price that I had from a woman who needed to sell her car with 4500 miles on it. I was impressed then and brought my car to you for all maintenance until I bought a new one in 2010, though the car is a 2011. More
