Greetings Mark and RL Staff. This is my third 4Runner and it is one fantastic truck. 1999 SR5 with 205,000 miles. I bought it in 2005 with 68,000 miles off your lot. I still think this year and this truc and it is one fantastic truck. 1999 SR5 with 205,000 miles. I bought it in 2005 with 68,000 miles off your lot. I still think this year and this truck is the best all around SUV ever built with great performance, ride, looks, interior comfort, durability and vision from the driver's seat. MPG +23 in summer with V6. And the electric rear window has always been my favorite. And I can still get it serviced and have had it serviced nearly exclusively and regularly at RL Golden Valley. I trust your people and your work. I plan to get 300,000 miles from this vehicle. I brought the truck in last Thursday Dec 19 for four things. Duane was outstanding and helped me check in the vehicle. 1-Oil and filter. 2-Brakes sticking. 3-Check engine light on/off and rough idle. 4-Balance and rotate tires as I felt a shimmy at 68-70 mph. Whew, $1,700 later and at end of Thursday, I had fresh oil and filter, rear brakes and seals, the oxygen sensor replaced and tires rotated and balanced. Duane even showed me the existing greasy rear brakes/seals so I could see the leakage before I authorized replacement. It was obvious, greasy brakes. OK. My report is that the truck idles like a champ, the brakes are working great, I trust the oil and filter are lubing and filtering. But I still feel the shimmy at 68-70. Tires are brand new Good Year Wranglers. I always loved the smooth ride of this vehicle, this shimmy bugs me. What can we do? Did the balance get done right? Is it a bad tire? Thank you for considering a solution. I don't want this to become a big deal. Maybe you should take it for a drive on Freeway and see if I am blowing smoke! Happy Holidays. In gratitude. I walked in thinking I wanted to buy a Prius but then realizing the payments were out of my league she helped me find something as cool in a 2013 Corolla. I love this dealership and have loved this dealership since I bought my first gently used 2005 Toyota Corolla from this site in about 2006 - since then I have been using their service center for repairs and I love their Luther extended warranty contract where I can use a rental and not have to wait while they repair my car or do oil changes. That extra warranty is very valuable and worth adding to your financing. I loved Toyota so much, that after I got my 2005 Corolla I convinced my mom to buy a Toyota after she kept trying to pursue finding a reliable Volvo (never happened) and she was totally won over! I am still working on my brother - but we are becoming a Toyota family! I really appreciated the way Jodie made me feel comfortable throughout this process and I couldn't feel any more pleased with my purchase or with my experience in doing so. More
