Mark Smith did an excellent job of helping us find the car we needed. We described what we were looking for (color, model, price etc.) and he found what he had to meet our requirements. He was not pushy and did not "bait and switch" us to more expensive models. He was calm and mature and it seemed he was there to help us. I hate negotiating even though it is a part of car buying especially if there is a trade-in involved in the deal. The price was agreed to quickly and we got the price we had planned on. We did research to get typical sales prices and trade-in values before we went in. I did not give every category and excellent rating just because it is car buying. I feel Mark Smith earned an excellent rating. He is in his 60's (like me) and very mellow. More

We had seen a used Honda the evening before that the dealership had just taken in trade, but unfortunately, that first salesman dropped the ball in finding info for us. The manager, Ezra, specifically sent us to Mark, and Mark went the extra mile to be sure we had a chance to test drive the Honda. He kept looking until he had the keys and the background of the car, so we could make an informed decision! The dealership made a sales agreement with us, but insisted that we understand that the sale would not go through until and unless the car passed their strict mechanical evaluation. Mark reassured us that we could absolutely trust that this dealership was honest and above reproach in their dealings. In all areas, the salesman, Mark, and the dealership exceeded our expectations, making this rather stressful car hunt a pleasant and rewarding experience! Mark also researched certain unexpected extras that were on the car and made sure I understood how to use them! I have and will continue to recommend to friends and family that they visit Royal Moore and ask for Mark when they are in the market for a car! More

Our all around experience with Royal Moore Toyota was FANTASTIC! I had gone on a test drive on 7/22/13 with Mark but informed him I wouldn't be buying . . . just seeing if I liked it well enough for my FANTASTIC! A couple of days later I returned with my husband for a test drive. Mark was busy so Rick Martin came out and showed us all the fantastic features of the Rav4. He was the most informative salesman that I have EVER worked with. He told us how the cover in the back was used, and could be stored away. Rick took both my husband and I out for his test drive and answered all of our questions. We both liked him and his friendly, helpful attitude. As we pulled back into the lot, I told Rick I was feeling bad that we weren't going to be able to buy it from Royal Moore, because we were going to have to buy it from Broadway Toyota in Portland, since we were buying it(On the Costco Auto Plan). Online, it said the dealership we had to deal with, was Broadway Toyota in Portland. To our delight, Rick informed us NO PROBLEM . . . Royal Moore ALSO honored the Costco Auto buying plan, plus a 20 year/2000,000 mi. guarantee. That cinched it; we were ready to write the check. Once inside we were introduced to Ezra, their outgoing sales manager. We signed a few papers and they said that it would take until the next day to take delivery, since they didn't have the color I chose on the lot. The next day we returned to the dealership and were taken back and introduced to the nice gentleman, Howard. He does the final closing paperwork. Howard was very nice,and explained every detail. (He should get an award for aftermarket "extras" sales). He was helpful and explained the advantages of everything he sold us (with no pressure I might add). That was nice for a change! I would recommend Royal Moore Toyota to anyone and have already done so! About a week after getting my Rav4, I saw a man really looking over my car. He and his wife said that they had driven one and were trying to decide if they wanted the Rav4 or the Subaru Forrester. I gave him one of my salesman's cards and told him why I chose it over both the Honda CRV and the Forrester, but that he couldn't go wrong dealing with Royal Moore. More

While we were waiting for the financing we had a chance to talk. Mark was very genuine, very human. Doesn't really fit the car salesman stereotype. I LOVE the service at Royal Moore Toyota! My wife has an older model Toyota (97 Camry) and while it's in excellent mechanical condition right now, things do start to fail from time to time. I have had a couple of Toyotas serviced there over the past 5 years and have always been impressed with their service department. Now we are in the market for another Toyota I test drove and liked a left past 5 years and have always been impressed with their service department. Now we are in the market for another Toyota I test drove and liked a leftover 2012 Camry LE. Came back with my family the next day. Told the salesperson (who was great) that I would like their best price on it because I knew what I could get the 2013 version for elsewhere. Sales person assured me they were ready to move the 2012's out to make room for the 2013's and were willing to deal. The sales manager came back with a price on the 2012 that was almost $2K more than the bid I got on the 2013 from another local dealer. When I told him this he got defensive, said 'well I tried,' and actually stomped off like a spoiled child. I was in shock, my wife was in shock, and the original sales person was in shock. I will never do any more business at Royal Moore. More
