Additionally, David explained that given the current atmosphere, the $5,000 permaSAFE accessory, helps for Royal Moore to stay in business as they are not selling nearly as many vehicles as before. I appreciated his honesty and sincere apology. David was down to earth and easy to talk to, he stated that he would be using this scenario as a coaching opportunity. Thank You Mr. Denney for your professionalism and for reaching out to me personally and making me feel valuable, you have earned my business back. *************SEE BELOW FOR PRIOR REVIEW************ I will be leaving out names for the purpose of this review, the reason is because I am not trying to drag another person’s name through the mud, however, I do want to ensure other people are aware of the sales practices that take place at this dealership. I was interested in purchasing a Toyota Highlander and wanted to use the Costco Auto Program. I was told by multiple dealers that due to the lack of inventory, that they were not offering Costco Auto Program discounts and I completely understood. My wife and I visited Royal Moore Toyota to test drive a Highlander and were told that they did participate in the Costco Auto Program and could give us a call when one became available. I should also mention that during our visit we were told about PermaSAFE, which is a $5,000 accessory that is added by Royal Moore and would be mandatory, the salesman we talked to said not to worry because we could talk to the manager and opt out of it if we didn’t want it. About a week later I received a call from Royal Moore regarding a Highlander that would be available soon. Before making an appointment, I asked the salesman if I would be able to use the Costco Auto Program, I explained that I was interested in the car, however, was willing to wait, the salesman assured me that the program could be used “100 percent” is what hey said. I visited Royal Moore the next day and was told that the vehicle was not under the Costco Auto Program, now to be fair, the salesperson who I dealt with was not the same one on the phone, as the one on the phone had the day off. I explained to the salesperson that the ONLY reason I visited Royal Moore was because I was told I could purchase using the Costco Auto Program. I let the person know I knew it wasn’t their fault as I didn’t want them to feel bad. The salesperson felt bad and went to speak with the ‘Customer Experience Manager’. When the Customer Experience Manager came to speak with me, they said that they would honor the Costco Auto Program ($300 credit and 10% off accessories) since they had confirmed with the salesman that I spoke with that it was offered over the phone. I then asked what about the PermaSAFE? To which the Customer Experience Manager said, “he never talked to you about having that waived over the phone, I’ve known the guy for years and know he wouldn’t tell a customer that” ***I had to take a moment to breathe and remain calm*** and then explained that I spoke with the salesman when I test drove a vehicle and “Yes sir he did say that”. The Customer Experience Manager said that the PermaSAFE was mandatory, meaning we could not opt out of it! I would not have a problem if the Costco Auto Program was not an option, but don’t tell your customers it is on the phone and then it isn’t when they visit your dealership. I have no problem with you offering accessories such as PermaSAFE, I’ll listen the entire sales pitch without interrupting, just don’t make it mandatory for your customers to pay an extra $5,000 on top of the vehicle price, for something they don’t want. I hope that Royale Moore takes this review and makes the necessary changes to make me and a customer again. More

I was impressed with Royal Moore Toyota. Scott Jonassen was our salesman. He was top notch helping us through the entire process. It started with him asking what features we were interested in. He said he had located a car he thought might meet our needs. No pressure. Here is one if you are still looking. This was our dream car and he had found one. When we arrived to settle up, paper and the car were sparkling clean, a full tank of gas ready and waiting. He entertained the entire family. After the sale he went out and answered more questions and got us setup to go. It was a great experience the whole way. Yes I would definitely buy from him again. More
Our sales experience was amazing! We have been to a couple of other Toyota dealerships and struggled with sales teams. This dealership was great.
