The Service team at Royal Moore takes a genuine interest in customers. The facility is extremely clean and inviting. I am giving Royal Moore an "overall experience" score of three stars because of my past experiences with the service department. Although I had an excellent experience this time, I cannot in good faith give three stars because of my past experiences with the service department. Although I had an excellent experience this time, I cannot in good faith give Royal Moore an overall score higher than that. Here's my story: I used to own an '08 Outback and took it there regularly for the first few years I was here in Oregon. Between getting gaslit by the bad-attitude service advisors and the crappy mechanics constantly coming back with some issue that had been previously repaired (when I would say this, they would go back and be like, "OH SORRY, our mistake, it's actually this other *insert $500+ repair*"), I had vowed two or three years ago never to go back to Royal Moore no matter what. Why would I? I was treated like a second-class citizen and never had a good experience there, save for the one or two times I had Reese Richardson as a service advisor (**this is important for the next part**). Well, after my Outback went ca-put, I purchased a 2019 Crosstrek (at Gresham Toyota btw, because every Subaru dealership in this area is charging waaaay over market value for these cars- lookout, y'all!) and whoever owned it before me never took care of the Ignition Coil recall; so, much to my dismay, I had to return to a Subaru dealership once again, and Royal Moore's convenient location had me giving it another shot. This time I was able to choose Reese as a service advisor in their online appointment system, so I did and I'm glad I was able to do so this time. He is a great service advisor and I would (and did) give him five stars for his awesome service and great attitude every time. So, to wrap this up, although I don't recommend Royal Moore (and hope not to have to go back again), if you find yourself needing to go there for service, I HIGHLY recommend selecting or asking for Reese. Please note that my five-star ratings on service, quality of work, friendliness, and price only apply to this particular experience with my 2019 Crosstrek and the singular appointment I've had for it-- not my overall experience with Royal Moore and their employees as a whole.
