He listened to my needs and suggested models that may be right for me. Nothing was rushed. Costco is very strict about their pricing structure and one does save money. There was no haggle. Royal Moore and Ed May went out of their way to get me the car and color I wanted. I spoke with another buyer while there. Their review was as good as mine and they were repeat customers. More

Shady, Unprofessional "Sales Manager" & backroom finance For a new car dealership, this place operated like a stereotypical, bad used-car lot. My experience was like the folks buying a car in the movie "Farg For a new car dealership, this place operated like a stereotypical, bad used-car lot. My experience was like the folks buying a car in the movie "Fargo". ("they put the true coat on at the factory!") They had emailed me the price of the car. Going to their dealership was a complete waste of time. After waiting around for 90 minutes for the "sales manager" to present his offer, the price was significantly higher than what had been emailed to me and with numerous additional charges/add-ons. They were only going to sell the car at the price they offered in the email by financing it thru them at exorbitant rates. He explained this was just a "starting point" - & basically wanted to haggle back & forth with one bad offer after another. Keep your guard up and look at all the fine print if you deal with these folks. I walked and bought a new vehicle from another Mazda dealership that was waaaay more professional! More
Horrible Experience. Never buy from them. I had a horrible experience from the start. I would say that the only positive experience was with Brian, the sales man, however, the managers, the finance department and the tile department dropped the ball numerous times. First off, when we got a Nissan Altima, it was making a weird rattling sound that took 4 visits to the dealership service department for someone to finally acknowledge that. Not only that, every time we went to have it checked out, we would get bad attitudes from one of the sales managers in there, who was kind when we purchased the vehicle, but when it came to assume responsibility, he totally changed his attitude and was very unprofessional. When someone finally acknowledge that the noise the car was making was not normal, they traded us out of the vehicle, but they gave us like $2000 less than what we have paid for the car and we only had the car for 3 days or so, but since we felt we had no other choice, we went with it. After we got a new car, it took like 6 weeks for them to let us know that they still had not submitted the request for the title and we had to go back to fill out more paperwork. The title finally arrived and we thought it was all over, but we were wrong. We then got a photo ticket from the car that we had traded in the first time. The guy that had purchased the vehicle, ran a red light and since the dealership did not make the title change, we got the ticket, which we had to try to fix and it is still trying to be fixed. We purchase the vehicle back in February and we still are dealing with some of the aftermath of the horrible experience we had with this dealership. I never leave bad reviews, however, due to the horrible experience, I felt it was necessary to do this, so that others do not go through the same nightmare that I have gone through. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership. More
No pressure sales and great deals I worked with Jessie at the Toyota side of Royal Moore and he was fantastic. He had a laid back approach and was not pushy at all. I highly recommend I worked with Jessie at the Toyota side of Royal Moore and he was fantastic. He had a laid back approach and was not pushy at all. I highly recommend asking for Jessie! I also worked with Doug in the finance department. He really pulled some strings to get me the monthly payments I could make. More

A rare beacon of competent professionalism I've never purchased a car before, and when I decided to get a new Mazda3 hatchback I called 10 dealers around Oregon/Washington to request a quote fo I've never purchased a car before, and when I decided to get a new Mazda3 hatchback I called 10 dealers around Oregon/Washington to request a quote for an exact factory build. How hard can this be? I have a pile of cash, you have some friends in Japan who want to make me a car --- lets do this! This is how I discovered that most car dealerships are grossly incompetent: + one dealer never replied with a quote, but later emailed to ask why they didn't get my business + one dealer quoted me a grand above MSRP (who requests a quote and doesn't know the MSRP?) + one dealer replied to the wrong email address (they can't read their own handwriting?) + several dealers totally ignored all the specs I told them on the phone and tried to get me to buy other cars. However, one person stood out from the rest: Ed May from Royal Moore Mazda! Ed not only replied with the lowest quote, but he was extremely professional, prompt, and helpful through the whole process: + I email to ask for an itemized cost schedule including all taxes/fees --- BOOM! Ed immediately replies with an easy to read fee breakdown. + I decide to go with Ed at Royal Moore, he puts in the factory order, and then keeps me posted over the next few weeks: emails me the window sticker, lets me know when the car itself is being built, and when the car will arrive at the dealership. + When I come to pick up the car, Ed is patient and happy as I go through my inspection checklist (opening the hood, checking fluids, etc.). He shows me some neat features of the car, answers all my questions, and even makes sure that my iPod works with the car stereo. The best part: he charged me exactly the price he quoted me months before! I was extremely pleased with the whole experience --- I'd recommend Ed to anyone who's looking to buy a car: In an industry of goofballs, Ed is a competent professional. More
Great salesman, unresponsive and disinterested back office I bought a new Mazda from this dealership, and had no problems with the salesman. He was actually very professional, not at all smarmy, and I felt pretty good about that part of the transaction. Unfortunately, after he handed me off to the back office people, their treatment of me made a complete 180. First, the finance manager didn't give me a copy of some of the paperwork and it took about a week of constant calls to finally get in touch with somebody who would give me a copy. Second, three weeks after the sale, the auto licensing office still hasn't received anything from the dealership, so my trip permit will expire today and I'll have to find another way to get to work. I've been calling and leaving messages with people for a week or so to find out if they've even sent it in, or if not when. Nobody answers, and nobody calls me back. I assume since they've already made the sale, they don't feel that they need to do anything for me. A very frustrating and disappointing experience. Although the salesman was great, I would not recommend anybody buy from this dealership. More
