Bad Customer Service I had a question about my vehicle based on a problem I was having. The owners manual didn’t state where the fuse was for the left headlight. I am capable of changing a fuse but it’s difficult when the manual isn’t specific. Without hearing me out, he wanted to charge me $65 For a diagnostic test. I didn’t see the need for a test because I already knew what the problem was. I could understand if I asked them to check the fuse, but all I asked for was which fuse it was. I went in to speak with him and he was on the phone and wouldn’t make any eye contact with me. I asked for the head manager, Raul, and conveniently he was out of the shop. I went to the Jim Click Kia and they were happy to help without giving me a hard time. More
Worst customer service ever On Thursday 09/13/2018 I brought my 2012 Kia Sedona to Royal Kia because the transmission was clunking between 1st and 2nd gear. I purchased the vehic On Thursday 09/13/2018 I brought my 2012 Kia Sedona to Royal Kia because the transmission was clunking between 1st and 2nd gear. I purchased the vehicle from them and did the 60,000 mile transmission service there. The following day I was told by Carlos Elias the stop mount needed to be replaced. They had to order it but the repar would be complete on Tuesday 09/18/2018. I was also told I could use the vehicle to get to work and bring it back Tuesday morning. I picked it up but returned it after driving a few blocks because it was now dropping out of gear and felt like a sledge hammer was banging on it when shifting. I told Carlos I thought it was more serious than a mounting bracket and he assured me the mechanic was really good and would know if it was more serious. He again promised my vehicle would be fixed on Tuesday the 18th. On Tuesday I was told the transmission had to be replaced and the warranty forever would not cover it because I had another company change my engine oil. I was told the transmission would be there on Thursday the 20th and installed on Friday the 21st. On Friday the 21st Carlos Elias called and said the mechanic ran out of time and would have to finish my repair on Monday the 24th. When I called Monday morning I was told by Brittney that Carlos couldnt come to the phone but my repair would be done in about 3 hours and that Carlos would call when it was ready. 7 hours later I called Carlos to ask about my vehicle. He put me on hold. When he returned he said the mechanic took it upon himself to put my repair on hold so they could fix another vehicle instead. I reminded him that they have had my vehicle since the 13th and asked if the other vehicle had been there longer and if that is why it was given priority over mine. He said no. They fixed that one first because they thought they could do it quicker. I now had to wait until late afternoon on Tuesday the 25th for my vehicle. I also had to return again because the front allignment was off after the repair. At my previous job if a repair or install was messed up this bad they would take 20% off the total bill. My bill was just under $3000. Carlos took off $150 which is not much considering they charged me $45 just to create the repair order and $202 for a mount other dealers had listed fle $118. I sent a letter to their Consumer Assistance Center because I didnt feel enough was done. They called me a month later and said they were going to forward my letter to the dealership but didnt think they would give me a partial refund. They were right. The only letter I have gotten from Royal Kia is ove saying they will give me $500 above the market value for my current vehicle if I trade it in for a newer one. They are not willing to give me $500 to make up for the terrible customer service and this was not the first time. I will never set foot on this property or any dealer in the Royal Automotive group. More

I made the trip from Marana past the Kia dealer on Wetmore whom I have used before but when I called their service department, the phone rang until it eventually disconnected. Five times! I called Royal and the phone was answered on the second ring. I will drive the extra miles for this service. More

I have never been made to feel so special when seeking to purchase a new vehicle. We had another vehicle in for an emergency service call, and also looking at the new vehicles the time ran into the early evening, and the salesman actually took me and my wife out to dinner and he paid for the dinner. When we were ready to take the new car, it had a huge red bow on the top and my wife was presented with a dozen of red roses. All in all this was a very unexpected way to be treated and has earned our repeat business. More

Dave takes great care of his customers This review is long overdue. We bought our car from Royal Kia years ago and the experience was as pleasurable as a car purchase could be. But truly, w This review is long overdue. We bought our car from Royal Kia years ago and the experience was as pleasurable as a car purchase could be. But truly, what sets this dealership apart is it’s service department; in particular, Dave Loper. He has been our primary contact for all our service needs and has been absolutely fabulous. As a woman, I always worry I am being taken advantage of when I take my car to a mechanic, given how little I know about cars. But Dave is honest, straight-forward and always sensitive to budgets. After four years of owning our vehicle, we put Dave to the true test when our transmission went. He had all the paperwork in place and was able to demonstrate we did all the necessary maintenance to keep up with the warantee requirements and worked with the warantee company to make sure the transmission was covered under Royals Kia’s lifetime warantee. I’ll likely buy from Royal Kia again, and it will be in large part due to Dave’s awesome customer service. Thanks Dave! -Raquel More

I had an absolutely incredible experience the first time - Matt helped me, walked me through the process, and explained everything in such a way that I felt like I really knew what was going on. When I had to go in the second time and I saw Matt working at the desk, I made sure to go up to him. Not only did he once again make me feel reassured, he recognized me from several months before. Matt is the reason why going in to get my car serviced doesn't feel like a chore. I cannot fully express how welcomed and comfortable I always feel working with him. More
